The Jamaica Baptist Union is inviting us to register for the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) 2020 Congress, to be held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil  from July 22 – 26, 2020,  Full details of the Congress inclusive of travel and accommodation as well as the Registration Form etc. are posted on the Notice Board at the back of the Church, or you may contact the JBU office if you have any questions or need further clarification.

SUPPORT GROUPS’ MEETINGS

1. Bethel Baptist   Bereavement Support Group will meet today, Sunday OCTOBER 27, 2019 in the Clinic waiting room, starting at 4:00 pm. This is a special invitation to members and friends who have lost loved ones. Come and be a part of this intimate and sensitive time of sharing. You will be truly encouraged and comforted.

2. RAYS OF SUNSHINE – Next meeting will be on Thursday, October 31st - – 6:00 p.m. – Guest Presenter will be Ms Janice Bailey –Life is a journey, so travel it well! plan to attend!

a) The Management Committee of the JBU Horizon Home for the Aged invites our support for its Annual Benefit Concert on Sunday, November 3rd – 5:30 p.m at the Boulevard Baptist Church – Cost - Adults $1,000.00 ; Children $500.00 at the door. Tickets available in the Church Office.

b) The Students Assoc. of the U T C W I – present their Annual Caribbean Day/Night Food and Entertainment Package – Friday, November 1, between 11:00 a.m and 7:00 p.m – Ticket costs - $1,000.00 – available in the Church Office.

c) The Multiple Myeloma Society is organizing a Benefit Concert to assist in medical expenses for Mrs Monica Taylor, wife of well-known musician Mr Godfrey Taylor – on Sunday, November 3rd – 5:00 p.m at the Fellowship Tabernacle Church, Washington Gardens – Ticket costs $2,500.00 are available at Music Mart and York pharmacy

At the 6:00 p.m service on Sunday, November 3rd – All Saints’ Sunday – we will have our annual Memorial Service, when we will recall the memory of all our members who died in the last Church year – October 2018 – September 2019; as well as those within the membership who also lost loved ones during that period. You are all invited to attend and support.

Save the Date:  Children’s Christmas Production, Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 6:00pm. The production will incorporate music, drama, dance, sign language, singing and more.
