Warner BrosWarner Bros is an American producer of film, television, and music entertainment. It is the world's largest film and television studio because of all the films they make using animating techniques. It was founded in 1923 by the Warner family (Albert, Harry, Sam, Jack) they officially created the industry that is most used in todays times. They have produced cartoon characters such as the Flintstones, Tweety Pie, Tasmanian devil, Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner they have created well known stand out figures for the younger generation to this date and they don’t let you down with there creativity.

The films they make are good because: They appeal to all ages They tend to colorful and nice to look at The drawings that they do are professionally made

specifically for different scenes. They have made numerous amounts of films to give a variety

of films to their audience to enjoy. The sounds in the film are spot on to when the drawn

characters talk (this shows the films they make are well made).

The films they make could be improved by: Using things such as CGI in their films to make things seem

realistic and more appealing visually to look at. They could use more real life characters in films to make the

audience feel closer to the drawings – to make you think more about the film has been made.

Some films that they made are now outdated and they could be made better to our times – they should try and re make the films, so children nowadays will enjoy them more.

Norman McLarenNorman McLaren was born on 11th April 1914 and died on 27th January 1987 was a Scottish-born Canadian animator and film director known for his work for the National Film Board of Canada .He worked specifically in a number of areas of animation and filmmaking, including drawn-on-film animation, visual music, abstract film, pixilation and graphical sound. Due to his work he ended up winning many awards such as Oscars, which all directors and producers aim to achieve. He worked for more than 50 years creating films that appealed to a large audience.

Positives:

He used different animation types to create his work. He varied frame rates to emphasize what is going on his

films. He used things to create humor such as fighting scenes that

had been farfetched to cause humor. The sounds used are basic and put to use for a funny affect

Improvements that could be made:

The videos are a bit outdated now and they could be re done to make them seem more appealing to an audience nowadays.

In some of his films its obvious what’s going to happen as you can see the character in the background and what he’s about to do to the other character

The could be more use of sound such as music to make the films made more interesting and unique

Len LyeLen Lye was born on 5th July 1901 and died on 15th May 1980. He was born in Christchurch in New Zealand and he was well known primarily for his experimental films and kinetic sculpture. Lye's sculptures are found in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and the Berkeley Art Museum this is because he worked in America and he was born in New Zealand.

He made a large variety of films through his life that he lived They were good and gripping and generally good to watch

for entertainment. He used models to make his films which was unique to his
