Reading- This week we will continue reading the Seeds of Revolution. While we read we will be covering various comprehension strategies. Students will have a Reading Test next Friday. Writing- This week we will be working on visualizing and sensory writing. Math- Students will be introduced to graphs this week. We will be working on Translations, Reflections, Rotations, and Tessellations. Students will have a Math test next Thursday March 19th. Spelling- This week in Spelling we will be focusing on two concepts.
1.) Spelling for the /j/ sound2.) proofreading techniques
Spelling tests are made up of a cloze story word test, s skill test, proofreading application, and sentence dictation. Shurley Method-Students will continue Group 6 Sentences this week. We will be focusing on object pronouns. We will also be working on various subject-verb agreement rules. Students will have a grammar test next Friday March 20th.

Carnival is this Friday March 13th. Please send in any donations either for other games or for the classroom as soon as possible! I will be putting the basket together on Wednesday so any donations for the basket need to be brought in by Wednesday Morning! Thank you so much to those who have donated so far. Our basket is shaping up to be a great one! We have plenty of popcorn and candy. If you intend on donating still we do not have many movies, or movie tickets. They would be a great addition to the basket.
Thursday: Get to 50/ Friday: Logs are DUE/Spelling Test/
Friday is the Carnival!!!!
