About London.

 London lies on the river Thames. It has a population of over 6 million people. It's an ancient city. London is famous for its historic buildings St. Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, where you can see and hear the famous clock, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, The Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Tate Gallery, London Bridge, London Zoo. It's also famous for its parks and museums. There are four parts in London: West End, East End, the City and Westminster. The Houses of Parliament is the seat of the British government. Big Ben is really a bell/ You hear it every hour. It is a big bell. It weighs 13,720 kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the

radio: “This is the BBC/ The time is six o’ clock.” And then you hear the deep boom of the Big Ben six times).London has problems with traffic and pollution. Over one million people a day use the London underground, but there are still too many cars.
