Convention Prayer requests for Oct. 5: Many churches choose October as Pastor Appreciation Month, a special time to thoughtfully express appreciation and honour to their Pastor(s) and their families for their hard work and sacrificial dedication. In recognizing the unique nature of their vocational calling, please pray for your Pastor(s) and his or her family asking that God will protect them from unrealistic expectations and pressures and that they will be encouraged and loved by God’s people in a manner that will champion them on in being all that God calls them to be.

Tonight 7 pm Live in concert - Brent Reid of Cornerstone Ministries. Come and hear Brent as he brings us ministry through music. There will be a social in the vestry following the concert.
Oct. 6 7:30 pm WI meeting at the Community Centre. We will be having an update on Lynn's trip to Rwanda - guests are invited.
Oct. 8 7 pm Choir practice at the Church.
Oct. 19 4 pm Our choir, combined with Barss Corner choir, will be singing at the choir festival at Liverpool Baptist Church. Everyone welcome.
Oct. 20 7:30 pm Hall meeting at the home of Allan and Joanne Veinot

The Sunday school is in need of volunteers to help teach. If you would like to help out please see Terri. It would involve one Sunday morning a month if we can get enough for a rotation. Christmas tree decorating will be held on November 28th starting at 6 pm. It will be taken down on January 4th following church.
Christmas concert will be held December 7th at 3:00 pm
Messy Saints - We have been asked to do Messy Saints on Nov. 14th - if this is a problem with anyone, please let me know. (Merna)
