Poland- my country

Poland is a country situated in central Europe. It covers more that 320

thousands square kilometers and has population of over 38 million people. Poland's official language is Polish.

The climate is moderate , which means that summers are usually hot and

sunny, winters cold and springs and autumns quite mild. The longest river

in Poland is the Vistula River.

While the north of Poland has an access to the sea, the south of

Poland is dominated by the mountains.

The Tatra Mountains are perfect for winter sports and hiking, so they

attract a lot of tourists and climbers from all over the Europe. The Baltic Sea, on the other hand, is known for its healthy climate, sandy beaches

and popular holiday resorts.

Myszków is a city in Poland, located in the Silesian province. It is located on

the river Warta. It consists of 22 districts. There are several

monuments in Myszków, for example railway station and churches. When

you are in Myszków, you have to go to our cafe. There is delicious ice cream

there.

People take part in extra-curricular activities which take place in MDK.

Girls and boys dance in teams ,,Jurajskie Igraszki”” and ,,Pokusa”.

A lot od students play in a band. We have also a band with folk music. There sometimes are concerts of

famous musicians in Myszków. They are paid or free.

Music in Myszków

There is a music school in Myszków. There are about 100 pupils in it.

Children learn to play the violin, guitar, piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone,

percussion, or trumpet. Students win a lot of competitions. They sing various

songs. Pupils improve their skills.

Primary School number 5 is the biggest school in Myszków. There are

over 800 students in our school. There are a lot of classrooms. We

have four gymnasiums. We also have a sports field. Next to the school

there is a playground with swings and slides. Teachers are demanding and really nice. Lessons are always interesting.

We have music lessons. We sing songs. We learn the history of music.

Same students play the violin, keyboard and piano. We have a

school choir. At our school there is a band. We sing during various

assemblies. We learn to dance polonaise.
