MetoKote’s Paint Shop Management

coating technologies
• Benefits from MetoKote’s three
decades of world-wide leadership
in the application of coatings to
over 1,500 customers around
the world
MetoKote is 100% focused on coating,
so our customers don't have to.
ElectrocoatingMetoKote offers electrocoating (e-coat)
as a coating solution. E-coat is a
method of painting which uses electrical
current to deposit the paint. The
fundamental physical principle of e-coat
is that materials with opposite electrical
charges attract each other.
The e-coat process can be used as a
primer in which the part can then be
coated with either liquid or powder
topcoat materials or e-coat can serve
as the topcoat itself. Regardless of the
use of the e-coat application,
MetoKote’s process and experience
prove to be successful with this
technology.
CapabilitiesMetoKote, a pioneer in advanced coating technologies, continually works to improve
our applications and procedures through rigorous research and development
processes. Our leadership is proven time and time again with the development of
processes, equipment and with our high level of commitment to the customer.
Powder CoatingMetoKote also offers powder coating as
a coating application. Powder coating is
different from painting in that there are
no liquids or solvents making it the
ultimate coating solution for
environmental concerns. Being dry, the
powder overspray can be reclaimed for
an efficient application process.
Powder coating uses heat to convert its
state from a fine powder into a
continuous film and offers a variety of
color and decorative options.
MetoKote has revolutionized powder
coating applications. With proven
experience and processes, the experts
at MetoKote can solve any coating need.
Liquid PaintLiquid painting offers features that are
not necessarily available from powder or
electrocoat technologies. Color change
capability is a major advantage to liquid
painting. Liquid systems can be easily
designed for quick color changes in one
booth. In addition, liquid paint gives you
the option to mix color selections to a
given specification.
Another advantage to liquid paint is its
versatility. Liquid paint can be used as
a primer, a base, an intermediate or as
a topcoat. Because liquid paint is so
versatile, it is also very practical. Liquid
paint can serve to meet a variety of
coating needs.
Special PackagingMetoKote’s special packaging services
offer our customers peace of mind.
From assistance in creating specially
designed cardboard boxes to
international shipping crates, MetoKote
can help eliminate extra tasks for your
employees by offering packaging
services.
LabelingMetoKote knows that many customers
need specific labeling on their parts to
meet supplier or manufacturing
guidelines or even international tracking
and federal regulations (R-dot). In order
to offer greater service to our clients,
MetoKote offers labeling from standard
to specially designed labels. MetoKote
will work with each customer individually
to determine the best solution for their
labeling needs.
Subassembly/Light AssemblyMetoKote is proud to offer subassembly
as a service that helps many of our
customers. MetoKote's staff can perform
light subassembly for customers before
shipping the parts to a designated
location saving a step in your
manufacturing process.
Inventory Tracking MetoKote has an efficient inventory
tracking system called MITS
(MetoKote's Inventory Tracking System).
This system accounts for all parts at any
stage of the coating process. MITS is a
real time bar code tracking system
offering the status of parts and
components at any given point in the
process. The system can also be
customized for the exact tracking needs
of the customer and is yet another
service that MetoKote is proud to offer
to our customers.
ShippingMetoKote has the systems in place to
coordinate the logistics of your parts to
any location in the world. We can serve
as a stop along the way within your
manufacturing process or the last
destination before reaching the OEM.
MetoKote has the knowledge and
experience with adequate systems to
ship your parts internationally, if
necessary, or right here in the U.S.A.

smaller coating companies can not. Some of these services include:

continuous improvement, to our
production process, MetoKote is able to
