Kongsberg Seatex embraces products for atti-tude determination of vessels in various types of operation and applications to high level po-sitioning solutions utilising GNSS infrastruc-ture or microwave technology.

systems. The platform is based on a comput-er-on-module with all necessary functionality embedded in one customised carrier board.

- One of the success factors of the new sen-sor platform is that new and existing func-tionalities are collected into one clean and nearly cable-free carrier board, explains Johan Edlund, Senior Key Account Manager at Data Respons.

- Additionally, Data Respons had the most rel-evant experience with embedded design and maritime solutions to meet this particular pro-ject’s requirements, Edlund adds.

testing expertise and has introduced auto-mated testing for products and solutions. The Nordic Operations Centre carries out advance testing prior to final shipment to the custo-mer. Testing and traceability is an important part of our total value chain and is vital to our business concept.

For low volume and high-complex solutions, the Nordic Operations Centre is setup with capability for our customers together with our Nordic EMS partners to provide a complete production, assembly and test. Service and repairs are provided by skilled technicians in close cooperation with our partners in Asia and Nordic EMS partners. The Nordic Opera-tions Centre also has the expertise and equip-ment available for development tests and pre-certification tests for consultancy services and customers in other countries. The Asian partnership model has been developed over a period of ten years and an impor-tant milestone was reached in 2007 when Data Respons opened an office in Taiwan.

Data Respons has expanded further into Asia with an office in Shanghai, China. Data Respons’ Shanghai office is located in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, one of the most successful industrial areas in Shanghai. Where our Taipei office is focusing on OEM and Part-ners, the Shanghai office will focus on delivering project support through subcontractors.

Both offices play a key role in many of our large-scale solutions de-liveries and will continue to be the bridge that connects our local offices to our strategic partners.
