Ambitions of German politics

Climate protection goals of the German government is targeting a 40% reduction of GHG-emissions by the year 2020, compared to the international reference-year 1990.

In 2017 solely a 27,5% reduction was achieved. The building and transportation sectors are not included.

The federal ‘Commission for growth, structural change and employment’ suggest a total coal phase-out in the year 2038.

What is Ende Gelände?

• Europe-wide alliance mixed with people from various social movements and organisations.

Organisation of local groups and interregional working groups.

Our types of action are announced mass blockades of civil disobedience.

Civil disobedience is a symbolic and willful violation of legal standards aiming at the direct prevention of outrageous injustice. Not always legal, but always legitimate!
