Thomas Hauser is graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School. He will be attending UW Milwaukee after a Gap Year of work and travel.

Madeline Sarkis is graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School. She will be attending St. Thomas University majoring in Psychology with a pre-med track.

Rachel Seizer is graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School. She will be attending the Madison Area Technical College majoring in Photo Journalism.

Abby Thiede is graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School. She will be attending the Aveda Institute of Beauty & Wellness studying cosmetology.

Michael Wiegand is graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School. He will be working as a fisherman in Alaska.

Vacation Bible School June 13-17 – Deadline June 3. (Copy is also attached to this newsletter) Youth Summer Camping Programs - Register through the Western District Website: www.wdcamping.com Youth Summer Camp—Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church Scholarship/Transportation Everyone attending camp is eligible for the $50.00 SBMC Scholarship. If we have enough participants

we will also offer transportation via the church van. To let us know that you have signed up for camp and are requesting the scholarship and/or transportation please complete, and return to the church, the form found on our website or in the church display areas.

DISTRICT SYNOD 2016

Appreciation was extended to Rev. James T. Hicks, President and Mr. Jeff Brandt and Dr. Bruce Loppnow, District Board Members for their years of service. Our new District President is Rev. Bruce Nelson, son of Carita and the late Lloyd Nelson. Bruce grew up in our congregation and is currently the pastor of Lake Mills Moravian Church in Lake Mills, WI. Clergy Board Members: Rev. Jason Andersen, Christian Faith Church, DeForest, WI and Rev. Jane Gehler, Unionville, MI. Lay Members: Judy Anderson, Northfield, MN; Nancy Chandler, Hope, IN; Cindy Fahney, Lake Mills, WI; and Megan Smock, Downey, CA. Please be in prayer for the Board, and all those elected to serve in various capacities throughout the Dis-trict, and during this time of transition.

5th ANNUAL MORAVIAN MUSIC CONCERT

Ephraim Moravian Church June 26 4:00 pm

Take the time on June 26th to join in this wonderful opportunity of worship and fellowship with fellow Door County Moravians. One highlight of this is the choir made up from members of all three Door County Moravian Churches.

MT. MORRIS WORK DAYS

June 16, 17 and 18, 2016, have been set as work days at Mt. Morr is Camp and Conference Center . There will be free lodging in Sandhill Center and meals will be shared. Trail maintenance and installing the new dock on the lake are among the projects scheduled. You are invited to enjoy good fellowship while at the same time providing a significant service for our church camp facility. Bring work gloves, chain saws, pruning poles, lop-ping shears, waders; other equipment will be provided by the camp.
