GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Interested & Eligible individuals / Company/Firms/LLP/Proprietorship Concerns preferably having experience in similar nature of work are eligible to participate, directly or through their sponsored entity, be it a company, firm or LLP provided they fulfil the following conditions. Sponsored participating bidders must furnish authorization from its sponsoring entity.

2. The filled in application along with enclosures must reach to the office of the undersigned in sealed envelope super-scribed as‘Supply of Live Animals, Birds for Meat Purpose at Haringhata Meat Plant, Mohanpur,

Nadia as well as Egg at Central Store, Belgachia, 37 Belgachia Road, Kolkata-700037 Of West Bengal Livestock

Development Corporation Limited, LB-2, sector-III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700106’mentioning Notification No. & Date of

this advertisement, on or before 22.11.2019 up to 05:00 PM.

3. The sealed applications along with other documents will be opened & evaluated by the Selection committee of this corporation on22.11.2019;5.00 pm onwards.

4. The application fee (Rs. 100/- only) is to be deposited in Cash at the office of the undersigned for drawing the application form and it is not refundable to the bidder under any circumstances.

5. The period of agreement will be initially for 1 year which may further be extended up to another 1 year depending upon the performance of the concern.

6. Before or at the time of entering of this contract the selected party shall have to furnish a security deposit of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) onlyin form of cash or bank draft drawn in the favour of ‘WEST BENGAL LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED’, payable at Kolkata.The selected partymust enter into a contractual agreement with this corporation. The Security moneywill be refunded back to the partyafter expiry of the validity of service tenure for specified period. The Security money will not carry any interest.

7. The agency shall be entitled to supply the Animals as and when required. Decision regarding the same will always be at the sole discretion of the Managing Director, W.B.L.D.C.Ltd.

8. In case of continuous unsatisfactory performance of the vendor, the corporation may terminate his vendorship without any notice. If the Supplier failed any consignment the loss shall be adjusted from the security deposit and any decision regarding this adjustment shall be under sole discretion of Managing Director, W.B.L.D.C. Ltd.

9. ApplicationForm will have to be made along with attested copies of Address Proof of the signatory authority, Photo Identity Proof, Telephone No. etc.

10. The selected party shall have to abide by the terms & conditions as will be laid down by the Corporation time to time.

11. West Bengal Livestock Dev. Corpn. Ltd. will place a firm indent to the selected Vendor(s) at least 3 days beforethe date of supply indicating Corporation’s requirement.

12. Products will be supplied by the Vendor (s) on specified date preferably between before 8.00 A.M. the date and time of delivery is subject to change due to unforeseen reasons.

13.The stock of the Vendor (s) will be liable for inspection by the Authorized Representative(s) (of W.B.L.D.C.Ltd. as and when required.

14. Any rejection should be done on spot delivery of the Animals and should be returned to the Vendor(s).

15. In case of any unfair means adopted by the vendor, his/her/their vendorship may be terminated without showing any reason thereof and further legal action may be initiated against him, if felt necessary.

16. In respect of any dispute or any point arising out of the above,decision of the Managing Director, W.B.L.D.C.Ltd.will be final and binding upon the Vendor.

17. Disputes if any, may be resolved mutually, if not, it may be referred to sole arbitrator, the Chairman of the Corporation or his nominated representative not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of West Bengal Animal Resources Development Department be the sole arbitrator for resolution of such disputes. The award of the arbitrator shall be binding on both the parties. The legal jurisdiction will be the Hon’ble High Court, Kolkata.

18.Those who have already empanelled their names during previous yrs notification need not apply if they mutually agreed to empanel their names abiding T&C of this notification.
