Day 1 Perth, Busselton Jetty, Boranup Forest, Cape Leeuwin To Margaret RiverDepart Perth and travel south to Busselton for a train ride on the longest jetty in the Australia to the Underwater Observatory, see colourful soft coral on wood pylons at the end of the jetty. Enjoy a delicious two course lunch with wine at Watershed Premium Wines in renowned Margaret River Wine Region. Tour through Boranup Karri Forest a fantastic soft adventure drive through towering karri trees, some over 60m in height, with sunlight streaming onto their smooth bright trunks. Maybe spot emus or kangaroos and many colourful birds.

Visit Cape Leeuwin to see the convergence of the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean highlighted with the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse Tower Climb.

Day 2 Yeagerup Dunes, Southern Ocean, Tree Top Walk, Valley of the Giants To AlbanyEarly morning rise to tour to Pemberton an old timber town that now enjoys a new life style showing off its natural beauty of old growth Karri forests. Join a local tour to experience the largest inland dune system in the Southern Hemisphere - the Yeagerup Dunes, walk on old logging trails in the towering ancient Karri forests and drive on an endless beach on the Southern Ocean.

Visit the amazing Tree Top Walk and Valley of the Giants. Stroll among the upper branches of giant Tingle and Karri Trees for a "bird’s eye view" of the southern forests. Nearby under the Tree Top Walk is a winding boardwalk that takes you through a grove of veteran Red Tingle trees known as the Ancient Empire. You can even walk through the hollowed out butt of one tree. Continue on to Albany for your overnight stay.

Day 3 Natural Bridge and The Gap, Whale World, National Anzac Centre To HydenThis morning explore scenic Albany and environs. Albany, a port city is the oldest European settlement in Western Australia with a fascinating rich history with British and French connections which has been preserved.

Visit Torndirrup National Park to see the iconic Natural Bridge and The Gap, which have stunning views of the southern coast. The Natural Bridge is a granite formation caused by the gradual wearing away of the rock by the Great Southern Ocean.

Join a tour at Whale World. The Historic Whaling Station is situated on the site of the old Cheynes Beach Whaling Company, located on the picturesque southern coast of King George Sound at Albany. Explore the fascinating whaling history of Albany, whaling ceased operating mid 1970’s.

Visit Mt Clarence to see the Anzac Desert Corp Memorial with views over the Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound. The impressive Anzac Desert Mounted Corps Memorial is a duplicate of the original statue erected in Suez in the 1930's. Today Albany is known as the birthplace of the Anzac story and the home of the National Anzac Centre. Visit the remarkable display of the Anzac story. In late 1914 over 41,000 Australians and New Zealanders left Albany, bound for the Great War. This is their story.

After lunch set off through the magnificent Stirling Ranges to Lake Grace and on to Hyden, home of Wave Rock a fascinating natural phenomena.

Overnight stay at Hyden a small Eastern wheatbelt town that has a very strong community base welcoming visitors to visit and stay to see their regional icon Wave Rock.

Day 4 Wave Rock, Hippo’s Yawn, Mulka’s Cave, Gnamma Holes, York To PerthGeologists believe the original formation was sculptured and coloured by chemicals over 2,700 million years to take on its wave-like character.

Wave rock rises 15m above the ground and 110 metres long is like a giant wave about to break. You can climb to the top of the Hyden rock formation for to see other rock formation at the top and take in the expansive views of the region.

You will visit Mulka’s Cave which has the largest hand art gallery in the southern Western Australia and Gnamma Holes (Aboriginal water holes) which were used in nomadic times.After lunch visit York, Western Australia's first inland rural town 1831. Heritage listed, York is a historic and charming rural town rich in Victorian and Federation buildings. Return to your Perth accommodation at approx. 6.00 pm
