PLANNING, PROGRESS MONITORING AND REPORTING PROCEDURE:
QUALITY CONTROL PROCEDURE: Quality Control on the Works and Testing of Materials are usually carried out on our sites by Third Party which will be an independent and Licensed Body approved by the Consultant and the Client.
Our approved and nominated Quality Controller is:
ARAB CENTER FOR ENGINEERING STUDIES Amman – Jordan
*
Quality control on workmanship of Architectural and Structural Works is usually carried out by the Site Engineer / Project Manager whom are very well trained to deal with all types of materials involved in such works and it’s application. Our staff are trained and committed to excellence and their target is a “State of Art” product.
*
Quality control on Electromechanical works if executed by Sub – contractors is carried out by the regular site visits of our E/M consultant and Electrical Engineer who are also responsible for approving the Shop Drawings prepared by Sub –
contractor and the As – Built Drawing after completion of the works.
*
Prior to commencement of works, a joint site visit is arranged by the Projects Manger, Site Engineers, Office Engineer and Planning Engineer to collect data and site survey needed to start the Engineering phase which will include the preparation of: ‐
a) As – built measurements and dimensions compared to design drawings, and reporting any conflict or discrepancies
b) Preparations of co‐ordination drawing of different trades.
c) Preparation of necessary shop drawing for approval to consultants. d) Preparation of " Programmer of Works " and allocation of resource and cost accounts, in
addition to " Cash Flow Sheets" e) Preparation of material Procurement and flow sheets. f) Preparation of materials and samples of approval.
* Once all the submittals are revised and approved by the Engineer/ Consultants Parameters and guidelines of the project are all set and work is started accordingly. Monitoring of progress, cost and quality is guaranteed by Head Office on daily basis through the continuous flow of Time Sheets, Daily Reports, Inspection Reports, Site Memo’s, Testing Reports, Material Delivery and orders, which guarantees monitoring of Progress, Cost and Quality. We make sure that CPM is accurately translated on site and strictly followed day by day specially resource allocation in

* No material is delivered to site unless it was approved by the Engineer at submittal stage and tested according to specification or certificate as tested / approved by supplier against proper documentation.
* Inspection reports are revised daily by the Project Manager, and if the rejected reports exceed 10% of total submittal, the issue is transferred to the GM for immediate action. The “Approved as Noted” and the “Not approved” inspection reports have to be rectified and re‐ Submitted within 24‐hour period.

Safety. Discuss Accident Prevention Programs Planned for This Project.
7.1 SAFETY PROCEDURE:
Safety of the works and employees are on the top priorities during execution of works for any contract. Therefore we strictly adhere to safety regulations and it is considered one of the site engineer’s duties unless otherwise requested by the contract or deemed necessary by nature of works, in which case we will recruit a full time safety officer.

‐ Work site is completely sealed against alien entry. Site is closed by means of borders clearly marked on
“Work site, No Entry” and no third party is allowed in without prior permission.

9. Methodology and project understanding. This item relates to our ability to manage the day‐ to day the construction activities. This item covers as a minimum: Describing our concept of the project construction management organization and how it interrelates with the other elements of the organization for the project. Providing a brief narrative description of the proposed plan for performing construction for the project. This description will include at least the following:
1. A construction bar chart for the project, showing the relationships between functions shown on the chart and the functional relationships with subcontractors. The chart will indicate how we intend to divide the project into work segments to enable optimum construction performance.
2. A description of those categories of work which we anticipate will be performed by
our own direct labor force and those categories which will be performed by subcontractors.
Our plan and procedures to insure timely deliveries of materials to achieve the project schedule.
1. Bar Chart and Relationships between Functions 2. Execution of Work categories ‐ Will Be Submitted @ Tendering Stage 3. Material Procurement
- During the bidding process, preliminary material lists containing initial quantity and approved suppliers will be prepared.
Upon issuing the Award of Contract Notification, all material submittals, bar bending schedules are prepared and handed over to Consultant for approval purposes. A joint effort between Contractor .
and Consultant has to be put in order to complete the approvals process within the first week.
- During the approval process, final quantities and bar bending schedules are double checked and finalized and hence Material Flow Sheets are prepared according to the Master Plan and Program of Works.
- Once submittals are approved, material procurement sheets are prepared which will include: ‐
o Type of Material o Approved manufacturer, brand name and reference no. o Quantity required for all sites. o Name and address of local suppliers.
- Delivery dates of all materials are handed over to our Purchasing Officer to follow up and ensure delivery on daily basis.
- Any late deliveries or no show cases are reported directly by the concerned foreman or site engineer by
means of mobile phone which will be allocated to each site for immediate action.
- A pick –up truck will be allocated for substituting any unexpected shortage of materials and tools.

4. Addressing Problems, Risks and Conflicts
- During mobilization, survey control points are comprehensively verified hence reporting any discrepancy or conflict directly to the Engineer for action.
- Once survey control points, datum control and bench marks are established and approved by the
Engineer, they will be accurately logged, protected and dislocated points are established for future reference. Hence, ensuring accurate setting‐out of the works according to the set plans.
- If a change of plane exceeding 6mm occurs for any reason, a recommendation for providing a
smooth transition will be submitted to the Engineer. If the said change will in any way affect the final horizontal or vertical alignment of the finished structure, it will be immediately rectified at our own expense.
- During the Engineering stage, design drawings are thoroughly revised for the proper matching of
Structural drawings to the Architectural, hence reporting any conflict to the Engineer for verification and amendments.
- Shop drawings for all Electro‐mechanical first fixes are prepared imposing them on the Structural
and Architectural drawings for early identification of any discrepancy or conflict. - Our weekly produced program of works for each site extracted from master plan will allow early
Coordination with Consultant for problem handling prior to its occurrence.
5. Site Coordination Procedure
Our representative will cooperate with the Engineer / Client in the following :
- Allocation of mobilization areas of site. - Use of site and facilities during the work.
- Intra‐project communications; reports and records; schedules and recommendations; resolution
of ambiguities and conflicts.
- Submittals, for payments; interpretation of contract documents and instructions; requests for substitutions and change orders; review and inspection reports.
- Shop drawings, product data and samples.
- Locate and protect control horizontal and vertical survey points.
- Organize and record periodical site meetings. - - Submittals of samples and testing of materials prior usage on site. - Construction photographs
