David Musgrave’s family originally settled Waihi Bush in

the 1870's. David started pressing flax seed oil at Waihi

Bush Organic Farm in 1993 using a tiny press that made

about 30 litres a day.

Within years, the company has

grown significantly producing a

range of functional flax seed oil

hemp seed oil has been laboratory

tested and there are NO traces of

2 Tbsp powdered chicken or vegetable stock 3 cups cooked chickpeas cup water

cup toasted sesame seeds Blend first 5 ingredients. Add half the chickpeas, blend till smooth, then add the water, sesame seeds and remaining chick peas. Blend until smooth.

added. This allows for flax

fibre water binding properties.

In yeast bread, flax fibre can

replace 10-15% of the flour. To

maintain the same proof time,

texture and consistency, the

yeast should be increased by

25%.

Our flax seed oil soaps are traditionally

handcrafted soaps using mostly organic

ingredients based on goat’s milk, coconut or

palm oil and flax seed oil. They’re great for the

skin and other health conditions.

We chose luscious natural and organic ingredients enriched

with vitamins, minerals and proteins and produce the soap in

small batches to ensure lasting creaminess for a moisturising,

soothing experience.

Our soaps are handcrafted in the Waitaki Valley, New Zealand
