private or for p ro fe s s i o n a l reasons.There is a variety in i nt e n s i t y a n d l e n g t h of the courses, and they all have

in common the aim at autono my and co mmunicat io n. Classes are in s m a l l g ro u p s (10 peoplemaximum) during the whole year with a focus on o ra l c o m m u n i c at i o n .The minimum age is 18 years, except for the closed groups where we can accept younger students.

Depending on your priorities we can help you choose the most suitable kind ofaccommodation for you. Everyone is different but we recommend homestay because

it’s an excellent complement to your French course in France.

The homestay gives a total immersion in the French language and culture, but if you prefer to beindependent you may choose another type of accommodation, such as a studio or hotel room.You can also look for your own accommodation.

sports activities such as tennis, golf, swimming etc.

We work with trustworthy partners – associations, professionals and private individuals – to provideour students with a diversity of activities. They all offer a cultural interest, an opportunity to practiceyour French and a chance to get to know the other students bet ter.

In addition to the activity programme we give our students ongoing information about currentevents in Aix; it’s a very lively town with always something on. In summer there are several musicfestivals, such as the International Festival of Lyric Artin July and “Aix in Music” in June. Throughout the yearthere are numerous dance events, mainly thanks tothe Ballet Preljocaj.

It’s a picturesque spa town of Roman origin which is at the same time a youngand vibrant city thanks to the large student population ensuring that thecafé terraces are always full . The city is baptised «Vil le d ’Eau - Vill e d’Art» (city of water - city of Art)thanks to its fountains and to all the artists having been charmed over thecenturies by the specific l ight and by the beautiful surroundings. • The Aix TGV train station is 20 minutes from Aix-en-Provence. Buses leave for the centre of Aix-en-Provence every 30 minutes.

• The Marseil le TGV station is 35 minutes from Aix-en-Provence. Connecting buses and trains allthe time from early morning until late in the evening.

• The Solei l Motorway (A7 or E80 / E714), which goes from Paris to Nice via Lyon, goes past Aix-en-Provence (Aix-en-Provence is 8 hours from Paris).
