My wife of 10 years,

Victoria Futrell, is

also a graduate of

Leon High School,

class of 2004. We

have three wonder-

ful children that

are and will be at-

tending Leon ISD.

I have lived in Leon

County for over 20 years now and I currently run a family business as

a grower for Sanderson Farms. I am running for school board because

I believe it is my responsibility, as a member of the community, to

ensure that our children get a quality education. A quality education

is the cornerstone of a quality community. As a father of three and a

coach of several local youth teams for the last five years, I have come

to have a vested interest in the lives of the kids that attend Leon. I am

committed to working collaboratively with our school administration

and other board members to ensure we provide a well-rounded educa-

tion for every student. I believe we should strive to achieve the best

in both academics and athletics while maintaining a balanced budget.

I look forward to working with the educators and community to help

build on the solid foundation that has already been established. I hum-

bly ask for your support and vote on election day, May 7th.
