TRANSCRIPT
This Sunday, we will begin to look at the church as the foundation for our spiritual lives. Many today will profess that the church has lost its relevance or that they have no needfor it. Yet, it was Jesus who created the church and he is the cornerstone on which it wasfounded. I agree that the church has had its share of struggles through the years and aslong as we are a fallible people, we will continue to struggle. Jesus told his disciples tobuild on the solid rock and I offer to you the image of the church as that foundationalaspect of your life. If Jesus was willing to die for its creation then we should be willing tomake it a major part of our lives.
