Jingle Jam - A Christmas Party BIG Enough for the Whole

Family! December 19 at 6:15 pm

Jingle Jam is the telling of the Christmas Story and the idea of compas-

sion – caring enough to do something about someone else’s need.

God’s compassion for the people He created led to the greatest act of

love the world has ever seen. God sent His only Son to make us right

with Him. We reflect that compassion when we care about others and

show them how much God loves them.

Jingle Jam is a great way to share with families not only the Christmas

story but how we fit into that incredible story.

#fbcbucketlist Holiday Family Challenge This is a fun way to be intentional about being a family during what many believe to be one of the busiest times of the year. How many, the order,

and which items you choose to do together as a family is completely up to you. All we ask is that you share a picture/video of your family doing these on Facebook #fbcbucketlist and/or @fbcruston on Instagram. We also think it would be fun for you to friendly call out another family on Social Media to do a challenge or even add your own (appropriate) challenges. 1. Give an Operation Christmas Child shoebox (might already be too late for this) 2. Help with the To Ruston with Love – Community Thanksgiving Dinner 3. Play a game of touch football on Thanksgiving Day 4. Eat Thanksgiving dinner together 5. Buy an item on the Angel Tree 6. Decorate your Christmas tree together 7. Have a Christmas movie night at home 8. Have a family game night 9. Have a family night out: eat out for dinner and/or go watch a movie 10. Bake and decorate Christmas cookies 11. Decorate a gingerbread house 12. Drive around and look at Christmas lights 13. Sing a Christmas carol in a public place 14. Watch a holiday parade 15. Take a picture in your Christmas pajamas 16. Give a grocery sack for Touch Ruston 17. Help deliver grocery sacks at Touch Ruston 18. Bring friends to Jingle Jam – Family Christmas Experience 19. Bring a favorite Christmas goody to share after Jingle Jam 20. Attend one of our Christmas Eve Candlelight services 21. Take a family picture before or after one of our Christmas Eve Candlelight services 22. Bake a birthday cake for Jesus and eat it on Christmas day after singing Happy Birthday to Jesus 23. KIT – December 3 at 11:00 am “Jingle All The Way” Cost is $5 Great food, fellowship and even Santa Claus.

Hey guys, we have our first date for our Habitat for Humanity Project. Put Saturday, December 1, on your calendar. We will meet up at the church at 7:45 am and head to the project from there. We will work till 12:00. I am not sure at this point exactly what we will be doing. Due to all the rain, the construction sched-ule is backed up. If you would, just put this project on your calendar and I will give the details out as they come. Thanks again for your involvement in this great ministry.
