^ The Tigers’ top performance occurred vs. Nevada (Sept. 15), as their 23.0 team total blocks ranked T-4th-most in a single match in Mizzou history.

^ HOME SWEET HEARNES... ^ Matchdays at the Hearnes Center, home of

Mizzou Volleyball, have an excitement level that is unmatched in the country.

^ Since 2000 and the arrival of the Kreklows, the Tigers faithful have continued to come through the turnstiles in incredible fashion.

^ For the past 15 seasons, Mizzou has finished in the Top-25 national attendance rankings. In fact, the Tigers have 13 Top-10 national attendance numbers and five Top-10 totals since 2002.

^ The program’s most highly attended season came in 2013, as the team went 34-0 and claimed Mizzou’s first ever SEC championship. On Nov. 22, 2013 - the SEC title clinching match - the Tigers took home the crown in front of a school-record 7,879 fans, the first of two 7,000-plus crowds that magical season.

^ Mizzou fans have particuarly traveled to Hearnes in droves the past four years, including three Top-10 average national attendance finishes.

^ In fact, in each of the past two seasons (2015-16) over 30,000 loud and passionate Tigers fans have entered Hearnes. Entering the 2015 campaign, Mizzou had eclipsed 30,000 total fans in a season only twice (2005, ‘13).

^ The high attendance numbers and extroadinary energy at Hearnes has resulted in outstanding success for the Tigers. In 2016, Mizzou possessed a 12-2 record at home, including a thrilling 12-match winning streak to wrap up its season.

^ Since 2009, the Tigers have recorded 10-plus wins at home seven times (2009-13, ‘15-16). MIZZOU REACHES SWEET 16 FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2010

^ On Dec. 1, 2016, Mizzou began its run in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. In their first round matchup, the Tigers convincingly swept Northern Illinois in straight sets.

^ The following night at the Hearnes Center (Dec. 2), Mizzou carried its momentum from the first round matchup and advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 3-1 victory over Purdue.

^ The triumph in front of 2,704 black and gold Tigers fans marked Mizzou’s first all-time win over the Boilermakers.

^ The triumph over Purdue clinched Mizzou’s first trip to the Sweet 16 (NCAA Volleyball Tournament Regionals) since 2010.

^ Melanie Crow delivered a postseason performance for the ages against Purdue, recording 25 kills on .426 hitting. Her 25 kills marked a new career high, while establishing her sixth 20-plus kill match of the season.

^ Her 25 kills and 27.5 points versus the Boilermakers ranked third-most in all-time Tigers NCAA Tournament action.

MIZZOU CROWNED 2016 SEC CHAMPIONS, EARN SECOND TITLE IN PAST FOUR YEARS

^ Mizzou defeated Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 26, inside the Hearnes Center, 3-0, clinching a share of the 2016 Southeastern Conference championship.

^ The Tigers earned the SEC’s automatic qualifying bid for the 2016 NCAA Tournament, as they defeated fellow 2016 SEC co-champ, Florida, 3-2 on Nov. 20 in Columbia, Mo.

^ Mizzou’s superb 2016 regular season and conference title marked its second SEC championship in the past four seasons, as the 2013 Tigers squad claimed the first conference crown.

^ To this day, Mizzou’s 2016 and 2013 SEC Volleyball championships stand as Mizzou Athletics’ lone team SEC titles since joining the conference in 2012. TIGERS CLEAN UP IN 2016 SEC POSTSEASON AWARDS

^ The SEC announced its annual volleyball awards on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, with Mizzou garnering four total accolades.

^ Head Coach Wayne Kreklow was voted 2016 SEC Coach of the Year, while Melanie Crow, Carly Kan and Alyssa Munlyn were named to the 2016 All-SEC Team.

^ The recognition marked Kreklow’s second career SEC Coach of the Year honor. He first won the award in 2013, as that year’s Mizzou squad went 35-1 and claimed the program’s first ever SEC championship.

^ The 2016 Tigers accumulated the sixth 20-plus win season under the Kreklow’s tenure in Columbia, Mo. Additionally, Mizzou earned its eighth trip to the NCAA Tournament under Kreklow (2005-present).

^ For the second consecutive season (2015-16), Mizzou earned three All-SEC recognitions. Since joining the SEC in 2012, Mizzou has claimed 13 total All-SEC awards.

^ Kan became a three-time All-SEC recipient, Munlyn received her second-straight All-SEC award and Crow earned her first career All-SEC honor.
