LOCATION OF OCTOBER WALKS The October Walks are being held at Paradise Val-ley UMC located at 4455 E Lincoln Ave in Para-dise Valley. If you are sponsoring a pilgrim, please be certain to have fed him/her before you arrive at the church. Please be on time, 7:00 PM, as the evening cannot begin until everyone is there! Come earlier so you can get your pilgrim registered and settled in their sleeping area. Sponsors, please stay for the sponsor’s hour after the pilgrims are called out. You will be privileged and blessed to pray over your pilgrim’s cross. It should be YOU, not just a stand-in doing this special job. Be sure to join us for Saturday night Candlelight and let the pilgrims see Jesus in your eyes! Be there on Sunday when the pilgrims share their heart-warming testimonies of what the weekend meant to them.

AZ WTE to host Emmaus/Chrysalis Leadership Development Event

November 16 will be a busy day in the life of Ari-zona Walk To Emmaus as our community hosts a Western Region Leadership Development event, con-ducts team training for recent pilgrims, holds a potluck 4th Day dinner, and celebrates new members of com-munity with a spirit-filled worship Gathering. All of these events will take place at Paradise Valley UMC located at 4455 E. Lincoln Dr. A special program for Emmaus clergy will take place Friday afternoon, November 15. The Leadership Development event is open to everyone who desires to grow together into Fourth Day leaders. The Leadership Development is scheduled from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and includes modules on:

*servant leadership *sponsorship

*Next Steps/Fourth Day *weekend overview

*community interaction *clergy/laity partnership

*relationship building Training will be from 2:00-4:30 PM for all new pilgrims from recent Walks or those who have been unable to attend earlier training sessions. There is not a men’s training or a women’s training. It is grouped together, so please join us! The day’s events continue with a community-sponsored 4th Day Dinner potluck at 5:00 PM. It will give you the openings that we need covered for the 72-hour prayer vigil. This is presented to the pil-grims, as you may remember. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced before. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged.
