Vancouver Metrotown, finalists were announced for the Burnaby Business Excellence Awards to be presented at the BBEA Gala in November. In all, thirty-one local organizations have been selected as finalists in nine award categories, including Burnaby Community Spirit, Business Innovation, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Environmental Sustainability, Not for Profit Organization of the Year, Family Friendly Organization of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Business of the Year.

G&F Financial Group was inducted into the Burnaby Business Hall of Fame on October 10th, at the Burnaby Board of Trade’s annual BBEA Hall of Fame Luncheon. The honour was presented by Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan.

G&F Financial Group is a member-owned financial institution with over 26,000 members and over $1 billion in assets under administration. Twelve branches are located throughout the Lower Mainland to serve their member-owners, including two in Burnaby.
