Word 2: Unparalleled Def: Not equaled, stands alone in quality Sent: Juans ability to kick a soccer ball was unparalleled. Word 3: Origin / Original Def: Place where something started from Sent: Juan was originally from Peru, but was now living in California. Word 4: Nonchalant Def: Unconcerned and unexcited in a tense situation Sent: Juan nonchalantly told the soccer coach he was the best and wanted on the team. Word 5: Impoverished Def: Reduced to poverty, very poor Sent: Juan had come from an impoverished part of Peru where life was hard. Word 6: Novice Def: A beginner at something Sent: Juan trained hard and quickly went from novice to unstoppable. Word 7: Hereditary Def: Passed on from parents to children like eye color Sent: Playing soccer was a hereditary trait. Juans dad had been a professional in Peru.
