Last month, CAST Software Ltd. and CORT Event Furnishings of Fairfax, Va., USA, announced a new partnership following the successful launch in July 2010 of Vivien2010 + Library Additions which includes 78 custom furnishings available from CORT Event Furnishings.

Vivien2010, sister to wysiwyg, is an intuitive, 3D event design and sales software designed for the full spectrum of event profession-als who work in the special events and meetings industry. Com-puter skills can range from novice to highly advanced. It empow-ers users to conceive, design, sell, manage, and produce stunning events. By using its wide array of tools, onboard Wizards, Vivien’s growing Library of nearly 6000 proprietary industry-specific objects and textures, and/or importing external files in a variety of formats (including Google SketchUp), individual or multiple users from all areas in an organization can become more professional, more productive and more profitable.

With the release of Vivien2010 + Library Additions in July 2010, the number of Library objects and textures grew to nearly 6000

items. Already, several hundred select objects from the cata-logues of CORT Furnishings and other suppliers have been care-fully imported into the Vivien Library Additions. You can search and select which object you want, then drag and drop it into your design, just the way you do all objects in the Vivien Library – fully scalable, 2D & 3D.”

Densham concluded “The July Library Additions Release is just the beginning. With each new release we’ll add more products from the same manufacturers plus add other manufacturers and their products too.”
