Save your mixWhenyouarehappywiththemixyouhavecreated,tap[SAVE].Thekeyboardandamessagepanewillbedisplayed,allowingyoutoenteranameforyourneweffect.Enteranameandthentap[SAVE].Alternatively,youcantap[CANCEL]toclosethepanewithoutsavingyourmix.

Saving a chainWhenyouarehappywiththechainyouhavecreated,tap[SAVE].Thekeyboardandamessagepanewillbedisplayed,allowingyoutoenteraname.Enterasuitablenameandthentap[SAVE].Alternatively,youcantap[CANCEL]toclosethepanewithoutsavingyourchain.

Recording

Screen display when recording

To start recordingDragtheRECslidertotherighttorecordvisualeffects.

During recordingVisualPerformerdisplaystherecordingtimeinthetaskbaratthetopofthescreen.Meanwhile,theRECsliderchangesto whenrecordingisinprogress.Duringrecording,youcanfreelyselectanewvisualeffect,editamix,oropentheChainscreen.NOTERecordingwillbestoppedautomaticallyifyoupresstheHomebuttonorreceiveanotification.

To end recordingWhenyoudragtheRECslidertotherightonceagain,recordingwillendandamessagepanewillbedisplayed.Tap[SAVE]tosaveyourrecordingor[CANCEL]todiscardit.NOTERecordeddatacanbeplayedbackfromyourdevice’sPhotosapp.

WhenTouchResponseisturnedonandRealhasbeenselectedfortheTypeparameter,thekeyboarddisplayedon-screenwillbetouchsensitive.Inotherwords,thesoundandvisualeffectswillalsorespondtothestrengthofyourplaying.

Real: Withthissetting,apiano-typekeyboardisshownontheMain,Mix,andChainscreens.Youcantapthiskeyboardtoplaysoundsinthesamewayasonatraditionalinstrument.

XY-Pad:

Withthissetting,youcantaptherightsideofthescreentoproduceahigherpitchedsoundortheleftsidetoproducealowerpitchedone.Inaddition,thetopofthescreenwillproduceloudersounds;thebottom,quieterones.Byswipingthescreen,therefore,youcancontinuouslychangebothsoundandvisualeffect.
