Conducting research for this adventure series, Patti Wheeler has traveled to the far corners of the globe. During her school visits, she tells captivating stories, discusses the writing process, reads an excerpt from one of the books, shows photos and video from around the world, and explains to stu-dents the importance of reading and writing. Her visits have been a huge hit with teachers, librarians, and students across the country!
