Vision Concept Aviation Training Institute is a General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) CAR 147 and Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) approved institute. Training is delivered by a team of highly experienced instructors in the aviation field. We provide innovative methods and advanced simulation technology for training. To maintain the local regulations, we may deliver outline courses (without practical) subject to the regulatory approval.
Our Chairman & Accountable Manager is Captain Mohammad Al Suwaidi, a pilot by profession, with extensive experience in the aviation field. He was able to identify the gap in the current growing aviation sector as well as the lack of trained technicians in the region and the need to establish a new institute.
We are approved as a GCAA CAR 147 organisation to deliver the basic and corporate courses in order to train the young and motivated individuals in the aviation industry.
On completing a training course at VCATI, our trainees will have an opportunity to join the technical world of aviation and complete their On-Job Training. As an examination center for EASA PART 66 exams in partnership with KLM UK Engineering, we look forward to new candidates.
Course Outline
Year 1.The course is divided into theoretical lectures, workshop training and practical sessions covering the entitled modules.
Year 1 comprises of theory and practical examination for GCAA A1/ A2 course; along with EASA B1.1/B2 courses through KLM Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Year 2.On-Job Training (OJT) is provided with our reputable airline partners for qualified candidates. The one year OJT will be held in any CAR/PART 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation.
In the United Arab Emirates, the AME license is issued by the GCAA, under the provisions of the Civil Aviation Regulation (CAR 66) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licensing.
The provided course follows the CAR 66 syllabus. The term shall be 2 years, including 1 year of Practical Maintenance Experience in an Approved CAR/PART 145 Maintenance Organisation.
Category A aircraft maintenance engineers licence permits the holder to issue certificates of release to service following minor scheduled line maintenance and after certain checks.
The aviation industry will boom after the 2020 pandemic which has strongly impacted the global economics. World travelling will once again reopen to leisure and business. The international market will have a significant shortage of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at that point. This will mean increasing opportunities for applications.

Our EASA B1.1 or B2 (EASA License) modular course is provided by our exclusive partner KLM UK Engineering. To allow your progression towards becoming a EASA B1.1/B2 licence holder, KLM offers an approved EASA Part 66 Category B1.1 and B2 training material on their Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) website.
This course offers you a chance to study for the AME program at your own pace. It also lays out the benefits of a regular AME program, in combination with EASA B1.1/B2 examinations that takes place 4 times a year in Dubai,UAE.
We also give you a chance to do GCAA A1/A2 and EASA B1.1/B2 modules together. With GCAA A1/A2 License and EASA B1.1/B2 certificates from PART147 KLM UK Engineering, the chances to get a job with an attractive salary is increased.
