There are two types of sponsorship in Virlanie:- individual sponsorship enables the establishment of a bilateral relationship between the sponsor and a child living in one of our homes or who is part of our outreach programs.- collective sponsorship offers you the opportunity to support a Virlanie program or home as a whole. In that case, all the children of the program are corresponding with you.

Give back the smile to street children…Virlanie Foundation Inc. is the largest private non-sectarian child-caring institution in Metro Manila, the Philippines. Virlanie’s cares for, loves and accompanies each child whose traumatic experiences need to be healed. The Foundation welcomes more than 440 children every year in its 12 homes and helps more than 800 children through its outreach programs, with the aim of building a better future for them.

Create a unique relationship with your sponsored child!

Your monthly donation goes to the educational, medical and basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

It is important to know that the money doesn’t go directly to the sponsored child, but is processed through the budget of the home or program of which he is part of. The people responsible for him are thus the ones managing the money so that all his costs are covered in accordance with his needs and those of the other children in his program.

The sponsors are encouraged to answer them. This is very important to the children as it creates a personal approach, making them feel someone believes in them and motivates them in their studies. Which costs are covered by sponsorship?The costs covered by sponsorship are mainly related to educational expenses (see table below) but also to the basic needs of the children (food, clothing, shelter).
