A Bit of Etiquette is Nice

New Members: When a new member joins a club it is good etiquette to be polite and friendly by introducing yourself and other members; and if someone hasn’t already done so, show them the club facilities, and introduce them to the club officials and staff.

Q: Third B delivers her bowl fairly wide. As it re-enters its own rink it contacts a bowl from Team A which had been declared dead but left lying just outside the boundary line. As a result of the collision both bowls came to rest in their own rink. What is the position regarding the bowls?

A: The dead bowl belonging to Team A would be removed. (Law 17.1.4). The bowl belonging to Third B would be replayed (Law 37.3.1.3) as the dead bowl became a neutral object. (C.23.2.3).

Joke for the Month

Shampoo Alert! As I was washing my hair in the shower this morning, I took time to read my shampoo bottle I am in shock! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my entire body says “for extra volume and body”! Seriously, why have I not noticed this before? Now I understand why I am so “full-figured”!

Tomorrow I am going to start using Morning Fresh dishwashing liquid. It says right on the label “dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove.” It pays to read the warning labels, my friends!

This explains everything…. Here I was thinking it was all the chocolate I eat….!
