 With the arrest of a Aghori Baba namely Khichai Nath (aged 60 years), a blind murder of

plumber Puran s/o Mewa Ram (aged 55 years) r/o D-Block, Gali No. 4, IP Colony, Nathu Pura,

Delhi has been solved and weapon of offence recovered.

INCIDENT

On 27.9.2012, an information was received in PS regarding lying of a dead body of a person

aged about 55 years in a nursery of Horticulture Deptt. near Gali No. 8, Burari Road, Swaroop

Nagar, Delhi. SI Ramesh alongwith staff reached the spot and found that a person identified as

Puran was dead at the spot with injuries on his face and head crushed with stone. On further

inquiries, it was revealed that Puran has no family member as his wife expired about 14-15 years

ago and he was working as plumber and residing temporarily in the nursery with the guard Jwala

Prasad. It was also revealed that in the previous night deceased Puran along with several people

consumed liquor and a quarrel broke up between deceased Puran and one Aghori Baba on the

issue of telling wrong number of satta and deceased Puran had beaten the Baba and thrashed

him by holding the beard of Baba on which Baba felt humiliated and insulted. Aghori Baba left the

place immediately. After that at about 10 PM, all other persons also left to their homes and

deceased Puran laid his bed on the ground and slept there. In the morning, guard of nursery,

Jwala Prasead came and found Puran dead, subsequently, he informed the police. Accordingly,

a case vide FIR No. 195/12 dated 27/09/2012 u/s 302 IPC PS Swaroop Nagar was registered

and investigation was taken up by Inspr. Jitender Singh, SHO/Swaroop Nagar.

INVESTIGATION: During course of investigation, it was found that an Aghori Baba resident of

unknown place used to visit deceased and others in the nursery and he might have committed

the murder in a fit of revenge. Search was conducted on the hide outs of Aghori and it revealed

that Aghori was having his base in Shamshan of Nathu Pura, Burari but was not found present

there. A team under the supervision of ACP/Jahangir Puri, Sh. .Virender Dahiya consisting of

Inspr. Jitender Singh, SI Ramesh, SI Govind, SI Anil, HC Shridhar, HC Paras Ram, Ct. Mahesh

of PS Swaroop Nagar. On a tip off, Baba was nabbed from Shiv Mandir, Alipur by the said team.

INTERROGATION:During interrogation, Aghori Baba revealed that that his real name is Vijay Kumar

s/o Tilak Raj r/o Vill-Pakhana, PS Travadi, Distt.-Karnal, Haryana. He studied upto 7 th class and

then left his parental home and became Sadhu and came in contact with Onghad Babas' in

Haridwar.and started learning Tantrik Vidhya. He was given a name Khichai Nath by his Guru

Balak Nath and converted himself as Aghori Baba and started living in Shamshan Ghats. He

came in contact with deceased Puran and started telling the numbers of satta. In the intervening

night of 26/27.9.12, he along with 4-5 persons consumed liquor with deceased Puran, during the

drink session deceased Puran fought with him and he felt insulted and left from there. Aghori

Baba further told that USKI KRODH KI JWALA JAG GAI OUR USNE RAAT 12 BAJE BADLA LE

LIYA. At the instance of Aghori Baba, blood stained fawda, i.e. weapon of offence was recovered.

BOOTLEGGERS ARRESTED Staff of P.S. Swaroop Nagar has arrested one bootleggers and recovered 46 boxes of

illicit liquor. This liquor was being transported in a Santro Car No. DL 8CG 2335.

ACCUSED ARRESTED:1. Rajesh S/o Ram Chander R/o Village Dhaisara PS Kundli Haryana

INCIDENT, TEAM & ARRESTOn 28.9.12 at 6 AM, Ct Naremder No. 1084/NW & Ct. Arvind No. 2482/NW conducted vehicle

checking on Nangli Poona, Ganda Nala, G T Karnal Road by putting barricades, after receiving specific information regarding transportation of illicit liquor in a Santro Car. They intercepted one Santro Car No. DL 8CG 2335 coming from Mukhmel Pur side. This Car was being driven by accused Rajesh. On checking the vehicle, 46 boxes of illicit liquor were found loaded in it. Out of these 46 boxes, 19 boxes were containing 50 quarters each of country liquor of ‘Joshila Santara for sale in Haryana only blended & buttleed by fruit flacon Distilleries limited Village Jahari Distt. Sonipat Haryana’ make, 08 boxes were containing 50 quarters each of ‘Raseela Santra Masaledar for sale Haryana onl;y NV group Grain based Country liquour NV Distilleries Ltd Badholi Distt. Ambala Haryana make,Besto Whiskey’ make, 19 boxes were containing 48 quarters each of Besto Whisky NV groupb for sale Arunachal Pardesh only bottled by NV Disttileries ltd & other 18 boxes. All the recovered liquor was not for sale in Delhi. A case vide FIR No. 197/12 u/s 33(A) 58(D) Delhi Excise Act has been registered at PS Swaroop Nagar in this regard and recovered illicit liquor alongwith vehicle being used to transport it has been seized. The accused persons has been arrested in the case.

INTERROGATION: From his interrogation it was revealed that the accused persons was bringing this liquor from

Sonipat and it was to be unloaded in Samay Pur Badli i. Seized Santro was hired by Sh. Rajesh Kumar. He was given the task of supplying this liquor from Haryana border to Samaypur Badli by a person namely Ramesh whose address is not known to him. He has been arrested in similar cases earlier also. (List Attached).

PROFILE AND MODUS OPERANDY:The accused persons belong to lower society. Rajesh Kumar was a driver and not having any

steady source of income. RECOVERY:46 boxes of illicit liquor and one Santro Car.

NOTORIOUS INTERSTATE GANG OF MORADABAD CRIMINALS ARRESTED

4 CASES OF ROBBERY & SNATCHING WORKED OUT RS.1.80 LAKH, ONE MOTORCYCLE, TWO COUNTRY MADE PISTOLS

AND FOUR LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED

With the arrest of 4 criminals of Moradabadi Gang of criminals, namely (i) Sandeep, aged 24 years, s/o Deepak r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad (UP), (ii) Sharvan @ Ghota s/o Shanker Singh r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad (UP), aged 36 years, (iii) Pawan @ Pawa @ Pona r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad (UP), aged 25 years, and (iv) Parminder @ PK s/o Sudarshan Singh r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad, UP aged 33 years, the North East District police has worked out four sensational cases of robbery/snatching of East, North-East Districts and Gaziabad, UP.

Besides 3 criminals of the same Moradabadi Gang namely (i) Dharampal, aged 38 years, s/o Jaswant Singh r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad, UP, (ii) Ganesh @ Shekhar aged 33 years, s/o Rampal Singh r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad, UP and (iii) Lokesh Kumar, aged 23 years, s/o Satender Pal r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad (UP) have also been arrested in two cases of Arms Act who have disclosed their involvements in many recent snatchings/thefts in different parts of Andhra Pradesh alongwith some other criminals of Moradabad.

INCIDENTOn 06.07.12, on the complaint of Sh. Ram Kishan s/o sh. Bhanwar

Singh R/o B-38, gali No. 4, Jyoti Colony, Loni Road, Shahdara, a case vide FIR No. 191/12 u/s 392/34 IPC was registered in P.S. Shahdara. The complainant stated that he along with his wife Smt. Vedo Devi was returning to his residence after withdrawing Rs. 4 lakh from Central Bank of India, Jyoti Nagar, Delhi. The polythene bag containing Rs. 4 lakhs was being carried by his wife in her hand. They walked about ½ km. distance and when they were about to enter their residence, two motorcycle borne youth came, pushed his wife and robbed the bag containing Rs. 4 lakhs cash, other documents, etc. and ran away.

TEAMAfter registration of the case, a team consisting of SI

Nagender, HC Vinod, HC Sumdev and Ct. Neeraj, was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, SHO, P.S. Shahdara and overall supervision of Sh. Dheeraj Kumar, Addl. DCP, North East District to crack the case. Assistance of the Special Cell was also sought to work out the case.

INVESTIGATIONDuring the course of investigation, information of criminals

who use similar modus operandi was collected and analysed. It has been found that similar robberies/snatchings has been reported from Vivek Vihar, Seema Puri, Gaziabad etc. As criminals from Moradabad adopt similar modus operandi, a team was sent to Moradabad to collect further information. The

help of Special Cell officer who has knowledge of this gang was also taken. It was confirmed when on 20.07.12 Crime Branch informed the staff of P.S. Shahdara that a criminal, namely Parvinder @ PK who was arrested in Case FIR No. 198/12 dated 20.07.12 u/s 399/402 IPC Crime Branch, disclosed his involvement in the crime. He was arrested accordingly. During sustained interrogation of the accused by the staff of P.S. Shahdara, it came to notice that many criminals living in Adarsh Colony, Moradabad were engaged in the incidents of robberies/snatchings/thefts in different parts of India. Sustained interrogation revealed that they move in a group of 4-5 people (they call the team as GOL) and target persons who withdraw cash from banks. They reach banks in 2-3 motorcycles. The team members enter the bank and identify targets who withdraws heavy cash from the counter. They pass on this information to other members of the team waiting outside the bank. After that they follow the target and commit robbery/snatching or theft as the chance arises and decamp with the booty.

INTERROGATION

During the interrogation accused Sandip has disclosed that on 06.07.12 he alongwith Parminder @ PK, Sharvan @ Ghota, Pawan @ Pawa @ Pona, and Amit came Delhi on two motorcycles and reached at Central Bank of India after hatching criminal conspiracy. Sandeep and Sharvan entered the bank and identified the old couple who withdrew Rs. 4 lakhs from the bank. They passed this information to other members of the gang also who were waiting outside. Sandip and Amit on one motorcycle and Sarvan and Parminder on another motorcycle followed the old couple. They managed to rob the polythene bag containing cash, etc. from Vedo Devi, wife of the complainant. He further disclosed that he alongwith Amit and others committed robbery/snatching in Seemapuri, Vivek Vihar and Ghaziabad.

Accused Pawan, Ganesh and Sarvan and Dharampal have disclosed that they alongwith other members of Moradabadi Gang have recently committed many snatchings/thefts in a similar manner at different parts of Andhra Pradesh. Information has been passed to Andhra Pradesh Police accordingly and a team of Andhra Pradesh has already been arrived at P.S. Shahdara.

RECOVERY

1- 1 motorcycle pulsar black colour used in committing the crime.2- Rs. 40000/- Recovered from Sandeep s/o Deepak.3- Rs. 68000/- Recovered from Pawan @ Pawa @ Pona s/o Shrilal.4- Rs. 72000/- Recovered from Sarwan @ Ghota s/o Shanker Singh.5- One country made pistol and one live cartridge from the possession

of Dharampal6- One country made pistol and three live cartridges from the possession

of Ganesh and Lokesh.

Total Amount- Rs. 1, 80,000/- has been recovered in case FIR No. 191/12 P.S. Shahdara.

PROFILE 1. Parminder Kumar s/o Sudarshan Singh r/o Adarsh Colony , near

PAC Camp, PS- Civil Lines Muradabad U.P, aged 33 years, initially worked as a plumber and later on started making illicit liquor. He joined the gang and committed as many as 17 crimes including dacoity in Kaithal City Haryana. His involvements are given at Annexure-I.

2. Sandeep s/o Deepak r/o Adarsh Colony, Moradabad U.P., aged 24 years is 5th class drop out. He worked in a factory for some time but started making illicit liquor at Adarsh Colony. He joined the gang and committed as many as 18 crimes including dacoity, robbery etc. His involvements are given at Annexure-I.

3. Pawan @ Pawa @ Pona s/o Shrilal r/o Adarsh Colony PS- Civil Lines Moradabad, U.P. , aged 25 years, is illiterate and used to make illicit liquor. He is married and has two children-one son and one daughter. Later on he joined gang and committed as many as 5 crimes but arrested only once at District Latur, Maharastra when he along with his associates committed dacoity of Rs. 5 lakhs. His involvements are given at Annexure-I.

4. Sarwan s/o Ghota r/o Adarsh Colony, PS- Civil Lines Moradabad, U.P , aged 36 years, has been in illicit liquor making. He is married and has two children. He also joined gang and committed as many as 22 crimes. His involvements are given at Annexure-I.

5. Ganesh s/o Rampal r/o Adarsh Colony, PS- Civil Lines Moradabad, aged 33 years, an illiterate, has been in illicit liquor making. He is married and has two children. He also joined gang and committed as many as 28 crimes. His involvements are given at Annexure -I.

6. Dharampal s/o Jaswant Singh r/o Adarsh Colony, PS- Civil Lines Moradabad, U.P, aged 38 years, is a 10th class drop out. He has been in illicit liquor making was born in the year 1975 at the said address. He studied upto 10th class. In order to earn easy and fast money he started selling illicit liquor . Later on, he came in contact with traditional criminals of Adarsh Colony, Moradabad, U.P and started committing robbery/snatching/theft from persons who withdraw money from bank. He also joined gang and committed as many as 11 crimes. His involvements are given at Annexure-I.

7. Lokesh Kumar s/o Satender Pal Singh r/o Adarsh Colony , near PAC Camp, PS- Civil Lines Muradabad U.P was born in the year 1990 at the said address. He studied upto 8th class and in order to earn his livelihood started working as a labour. Due to limited income in the said profession he came in contact with the bad elements of Adarsh Colony, Moradabad. To earn easy & fast money he started committing thefts and other criminal activities.

AUTO-THIEF ARRESTED WITH 5 VEHICLES

With the arrest of Umakant Singh @ Titoo (24 years) s/o Late Mukut Singh r/o Village Dariya Pur, PS Sirsaganj, District Firozabad (UP); South-East district police have solved 5 motor-vehicle theft cases and have recovered three cars and two motorcycles stolen from different parts of Delhi.

On 25.9.12, SI Rajender Dagar, HC Lalit Kumar, No. 678/SE, Ct. Mahender, No. 2800/SE and Ct. Mukesh, No. 3810/SE of PS Sarita Vihar were checking vehicles at a Picket opposite Living Style Mall, Road No. 13, Jasola Vihar, New Delhi. At about 7.30 PM, they intercepted Umakant Singh @ Titoo on a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration No. UP-80CE-0716 (engine No. 17672 and chassis no. 17800). He was unable to produce any valid document of his motorcycle. On suspicion, the police team verified the motorcycle through AUTOMATCH and found that the original registration number of the motorcycle was MP-04MK-0853. It was found stolen vide case FIR No. 152/12, dated 13.5.12, u/s 379 IPC, PS Sarita Vihar.

Umakant Singh @ Titoo was arrested in the said case and section 482 IPC (using false property mark with intent to deceive) was also added in the offence. On sustained interrogation, he admitted to having stolen several other vehicles too. He was produced before the court and was remanded to three days police custody. The staff of Police Station Rithala Metro has busted a gang of thieves involved in theft of metro cable and arrested three gang members namely (1) Mohd. Saamir @ Saamiq aged 26 years s/o Abdul Rauf r/o Chhota Bazar, Near Jama Masjid, Inchhauli, Meerut, U.P. (2) Naushad aged 29 years s/o Waliuddin r/o Kuan Patti, Inchhauli, Meerut, U.P. (3) Liyakat Ali aged 27 years s/o Shaukat r/o C-103, Ganesh Nagar, Pandav Nagar Complex, Delhi and one receiver of stolen property namely Asgar Ali aged 50 years s/o Ahmed Sahid r/o K-86, New Seelampur, Delhi. The stolen cable worth Rs. 2.5 lacs, equipments and one motorcycle used in the commission of crime have been recovered. Six cases of cable theft of metro rail have been solved.

INCIDENT & OPERATIONIn the recent past, the incidents of theft of cable used in the signal

equipment in metro were reported in different police stations of metro rail in Delhi. The metro authorities were facing serious problems in running the metro trains on time due to theft of these cables. To unearth the gang involved in this crime and to work out these cases, a team led by Inspector Ms. Raj Rani, SHO/PS Rithala Metro was constituted under the supervision of Shri Ramesh Chandra, ACP/Metro Railways. It was noticed that the theft incidents had taken place during night hours. Further, secret sources were deployed. On 27.09.12, a secret information was received that the persons involved in this theft would come in the parking of Shastri Park Metro Station

on a motorcycle to dispose off pieces of stolen cable. Acting upon this information, a trap was laid and in the evening, three persons later identified as Mohd. Saamir, Naushad and Liyakat Ali, came there on a motorcycle. At the instance of informer, they were apprehended. The pieces of stolen cable were recovered from their possession. Besides, the receiver of stolen property namely Asgar Ali was also apprehended from the spot.

INTERROGATIONOn interrogation of the accused persons, it was revealed that they

used to steal the signal cable from the metro tracks with the assistance of their associates. They also disclosed that they were running scrap shops. When they could not carry on their business successfully, they thought of short cuts to earn easy money. They came in contact of a person who was committing theft of cable which could be sold as copper scrap to unsuspecting buyers. He provided information and took these accused persons to the places which were easy targets.

At the instance of apprehended accused persons, the equipments used for stealing cable i.e. cable cutter, pliers, screw-driver and rope were also recovered from a bush under the metro track behind Punjab Kesari Building, Wazirpur. Besides, the stolen cable worth Rs. 2.5 lacs was also recovered from the godown of the receiver Asgar Ali.

Whereas, a large number of people sell and purchase Second Hand Vehicles including Motor Cycles, Scooters and Cars in Delhi through dealers engaged in this profession. 2. And whereas, it has been noticed that the Second Hand Vehicles are Commonly sold without filling all the columns especially date of transaction of Form No.29 and Form No.30 (part-I & II) thereby resulting in transfer of vehicle to number of purchasers before the actual transfer of the vehicle in the records of Transport Authority. This is to circumvent the requirement of section-50 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, that the fact of transfer of vehicle should be reported to the Transport Authority within 14 days for local transfer and 45 days for inter-district transfer. 3. And whereas, it has been noticed that the stolen vehicles involved in crime are sold to several purchasers through dealers/agents of Second Hand Vehicles. Such second hand vehicles are likely to be used for commission of various type of crime like robbery etc. and may be used even in terrorist activity. 4. And whereas, it has also been observed that the record of seller and purchaser are not kept by the dealers or agents engaged in the business of facilitating sale and purchase of Second Hand Vehicles making it difficult for the investigation agencies to identify the criminals involved in such crimes. 5. And whereas, it is rendered imperative to put regulatory check on the vehicle dealers who deal in sale and purchase of Second Hand Vehicles so that the anti social elements may not use them to sell the stolen vehicles through them and it is felt that immediate action is necessary in this regard. 6. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by virtue of Section 144 Cr.P.C., 1973 (No.2 of 1974) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi?s is Notification No.U-11036/(i)UTL,

dated 09-09-2010,I, B.S. Ahalawat, do hereby make this written order that all such vehicle dealers who deal in sale and purchase of second hand vehicles including Motor Cycles, Scooters and Cars in the jurisdiction of Sub-Division Seema Puri, Delhi shall:- (a) Maintain a register of sellers and purchasers of all the transactions of Second Hand Vehicles. (b) Ensure that Form 29, Form 30 and the delivery letter are duly filled with clear mention of the date of transaction. (c) Affix photographs of the seller and purchaser on the register. (d) Keep copies of identification documents like election card, ration card, PAN card, Driving license etc. as well as copies of Form 29, Form 30 (Part-I & II) and Delivery Letter for access by the police as and when required. (e) Inform the nearby police station if the seller or buyer is found suspicious. These orders shall come into force with effect from 28.09.2012 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days upto 26.11.2012 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier. The information was takeup. A team under the supervision of Inspr. Surender Yadav SHO/PS. Jaitpur under the leadership of SI Jitender Malik including HC. Harender, HC Balinder, HC Rambeer, CT. The officials of police station Subzi Mandi, North District have arrested one auto-lifter namely Lakhvinder Singh @ Lakhkha s/o Gurdeep Singh r/o Bhuriya Colony, PS Baheri, District Bareilly, UP and solved five motor vehicle theft cases.INCIDENT AND TEAM

Checking of vehicles was being conducted by placing various pickets and intensive patrolling in the area. A team comprising of SI Pradeep, HC Chhidda Singh, HC Mahipal, HC Parvinder and Ct Dharmender was constituted at police station Subzi Mandi under the supervision of Inspr. Tanvir Ashraf, SHO/Subzi Mandi and over all supervision of Sh. Budhi Prakash, ACP/Sadar Bazar. The team was of the opinion that the theft of vehicles could be curbed to a large extent by roping in local residents also. Hence, the team started sensitization of the representatives of RWAs and MWAs regarding safety measures to curb the incident of motor vehicle theft. Some residents came forward to assist the local police in providing information to apprehend the auto-lifters. Earlier, information regarding movement of a person in suspicious circumstances near vehicles, which were later on stolen, was provided by the local residents. Some of the residents also stated that they could identify the said person, if shown to them.

In the intervening night of 24/25.09.2012, Shri Tanuj Sharma s/o Shri Rajesh Kumar Sharma r/o H No. 8179, Punjabi Building, Roshanara Road, Subzi Mandi,

Delhi noticed one person is trying to open the lock of motor cycles, parked on the road in front of his house using duplicate keys. Tanuj Sharma along with his father reacted when the accused unlocked his own pulsar motor cycle bearing No. DL-8S-AM-6638 and tried to take it away. The accused was later identified as Lakhvinder Singh @ Lakhkha s/o Gurdeep Singh r/o Bhuriya Colony, PS Baheri, District Bareilly, UP and stolen motor cycle was recovered from him. From formal search of the accused person, five keys of various motor cycles were recovered. The keys could open Hero Honda, TVS, Yamaha, Bajaj and SWX motor cycle. On questioning, the accused failed to provide satisfactory explanation to the possession of these keys. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 205/12 dated 25.09.2012 u/s 379/411 IPC was registered at PS Subzi Mandi, Delhi.

INTERROGATION

During sustained interrogation of the accused Lakhvinder Singh @ Lakhkha, he disclosed his involvements in various motor vehicle thefts. Further, he admitted to having stolen two motor cycles and two cars. Accused, further disclosed that with the help of one Chhote Lal, he used to dispose of the vehicles in the area of Bareilly and Rudrapur by preparing forged documents. Till date, five cases are worked out with his arrest.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

Lakhvinder Singh @ Lakhkha aged about 40 years s/o Gurdeep Singh r/o Bhuria Colony, PS Baheri, District Bareilly UP is married and has studied upto 12 th

class. Earlier, he was working as a labouror in construction work, but to fulfill his greed for easy money, he started stealing vehicles. Efforts are on to trace his previous involvements from his native village situated at Bareilly, UP.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On 28.09.12, SHO Mayapuri received a secret information about the movements of wanted criminals through Mayapuri road in stolen vehicle for the purpose of raccee for committing crime in the area of Mayapuri and surrounding. The senior officers were apprised with the contents of information and a team under the supervision of SHO Mayapuri, comprising of SI Ram Gopal, HC Bhom Raj, Ct. Bir Singh, Ct. Balram headed by Insp. R.N. Choudhary was formed and the team started checking the incoming vehicles by erecting barricades in front of Community Center on main Mayapuri road coming from ring road side. At about 09:45PM, a Maruti Car bearing No. DL 8CC 7691, green colour, driven by young person approached at the barricade. The car was stopped and asked to produce the papers of the vehicle and his driving license. The driver could not produce the same. The team became suspicious and the driver was asked to dismount from the car. While dismounting the said driver gave a blow and big push to HC Bhom Raj and started fleeing on the opposite side towards Mayapuri Depot. He was chased by the team and was warned to stop. In that after crossing some distance he stopped and turned towards the chasing team. Immediately he pulled out a pistol and opened fire on the chasing team. The chasing team miraculously escaped from the gunshot. Before he could fire another round, the chasing team without losing the time overpowered him and snatched his pistol.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

During interrogation the accused stated that he has stolen the present Maruti car from area of Naraina in mid last year and was keeping with him. The seized pistol belongs to one Ashu of Uttam Nagar, which he was keeping for his safety as he is wanted in a rape case of Jafarpur Kalan and police is behind him. At present, he is in financial crises. He discussed with Ashu to commit some crime to earn fast money. Today on the behest of Ashu he came in Mayapuri area to make a raccee of the Bank locations for making further planning to commit Bank robbery in the area, but he is caught.

Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

Singh R/o HNo. 293, VPO Ranikhera, New Delhi, South West District Police has worked out a sensational attempt to murder case of Police Station Dwarka North in no time. Weapon of offence i. e. licensed revolver has been recovered.

GIST OF CASE Suman Kumar Gola s/o Mahavir Prasad Gola r/o H No. Q- 69, Manas Kunj Vikas Vihar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi reported that he has been residing at above address with his family. In the year 1988, his father had purchased a plot i.e. C- 22, Hari Vihar, Kakrola, New Delhi which was possessed by them since then.. Later on, one room was constructed on the said plot and his mother, father, brother and some time his mama namely Mool Chand used to stay there. On 10.09.12 he alongwith his family members had gone to Etawa UP but his brother namely Raghuvinder remained at home and went to the above said plot in Hari Vihar. Raghuvinder noticed that some persons were trying to trespass in his plot. He shouted upon them, thus they fled away. On 12.09.12, two persons came to his house and showed some documents related to the plot and intimated that they have purchased this plot in Rs. 9.20 lacs. Thereafter they came at about 06.45 PM and discussed again about the same matter. During discussion, they became furious and started beating and also fired upon him, consequently one bullet pierced through his left leg . Upon this, a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Dwarka North and investigation was taken up in right earnest.

BREAKTHROUGH & OPERATIONThis day light incident of firing led to a general public outcry against the accused persons. Sensing the gravity of the case a massive combing operation was launched. A team comprising SHO Bhagwan Singh, SI Raj Malik SI Nanag Ram, HC Bijender, Ct. Pratap and Ct. Om Prakash, was formed under the close supervision of Sh. Samay Singh, ACP/Dwarka for early breakthrough. Raids were conducted at possible hideouts in the area of Mundka, Ranikhera, Bakkarwara, Nangloi,Najafgarh, Badli, Jhajjar, Bhiwadi, and Gurgaon. But the perpetrators escaped narrowly from the dragnet of police. On 13.09.2012 an impeccable information received from reliable sources that absconding criminal namely Rajender would come to Ranikhera. Immediately police swung into action and laid a trap at Ranikhera and accused Rajender was nabbed.

Accused Rajender disclosed regarding the whole incident that Kirshan @ Sunda, Manoj and Rajkumar of Ranikhera were behind the scene to grab the plot. These persons have close links in Jhajjar and Rohtak district of Haryana with some muscles mans who possess arms and help people in grabbing disputed plots in Haryana and Delhi. In this case Rajender came into touch with one of the accused Kirshan @ Sunda through another accused Rajkumar @ Matu who lured him to get into the deal with intent to earn quick bucks. Kirshan and other accused persons arranged fake documents of that property in the name of Rajender through one of the local property dealer namely Anand having his office near the plot, and attempted to take possession but owing to the timely intervention of local police the matter was kept pending for a time being. After a couple of days, Kirshan @ Sunda along with Kala, Rajkumar @ Matu, Amarjeet, Rajender and others reached the plot and fired at the complainant.

Continuous efforts were made to trace the other accused persons. Police custody remand was sought of accused Rajender on whose pointing out two other associates namely Ajay Tripathi and Jai Bhagwan were arrested. Other accused persons were at large for which several raids were conducted at Rani Khera, Bakkarwara, Mundka and Naya Gaon in Jhajjar Haryana. On 25.09.12 police succeeded in apprehending two more accused persons namely Karambir @ Chota @ Kala who fired upon complainant and Manoj @ Monu who provided his licensed revolver. Rajender, Karambir @ Kala, Ajay Tripathi, Kirshan @ Sunda, Amarjeet have criminal cases against them in Delhi and Haryana.

Other associates namely Kirshan @ Sunda, Manoj, Rajkumar @ Matu, Amarjeet, Anand, Ravinder etc are evading from their arrests . A massive manhunt has been launced to nab them at the earliest.

INTERROGATION Accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation. Initially they tried to

hoodwink the police by narrating the false stories. During further intensive interrogation, the accused persons broke down and disclosed that they assembled with intend to grab a property. After seeing several plots/properties they targeted the plot of the complainant. In their team, Manoj had licensed revolver thus set out for taking illegal possession of the plot by preparing forged documents in the name of Rajender. Accused persons further disclosed that at one time they were engaged in the business of real estate and bore huge loss. Since they were economically shattered, in order to compensate the loss they resorted to crime.

PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSON1. Karamvir @ Chota @ Kala(aged-33yrs) S/o Sh. Mukhtyar Singh R/o VPO Naya Gaon,

PS Bahadurgarh, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, is school dropout of 12 th class. He is married and has two children. He has three previous involvements i.e 1) hurt case of Bahadurgarh 2) Arms Act case of P.S Bahadurgarh and 3) dowry case of P.S Khanjawla.

2. Manoj @ Monu(aged-29yrs) S/o Dalbir Singh R/o VPO Naya Gaon, PS Bahadurgarh, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, is a school dropoutof 10 th class. He is married and provided his licensed revolver in commission of crime.

3. Rajender Sharma(aged-54yrs) S/o Lilu Ram R/o C-4, Bhagya Vihar, Jain Colony, Ranikhera, New Delhi, is a school dropout of 12th class. He is married and has two children. He originally hails from Bhiwani, Haryana.

4. Ajay Tripathi @ Monu(aged-19yrs)S/o Raghav Tripathi R/o A-20, Vipin Garden, Sainik Enclave Uttam Nagar, Delhi, is a school dropout of 12 th class. He is unmarried and spoilt brat of a businessman. He was also arrested in a kidnapping for ransom case of Jaipur, Rajasthan which is being verified.

5. Jai Bhagwan(aged-45yrs) S/o Jasmal Singh R/o HNo. 293, VPO Ranikhera, New Delhi, is a school dropout of 9th class. He is married and a renowned property dealer of the area.

Recovery

Licensed revolver.

Investigation of case is in progress and the staff involved in the good work is being suitably rewarded.

TWO SNATCHERS APPREHENDED AT THE SPOT BY ERV STAFF OF PS BHARAT NAGAR WITH THE HELP OF PUBLIC

INTRODUCTION

With the arrest of two snatchers namely Ravi (a school going student & 1st time offender) and Imtiaz (a notorious snatcher/thief), Bharat Nagar Police of North West District has solved a snatching case and has recovered the whole snatched property on the spot i.e. mobile phone and cash Rs.2000/-.

INCIDENTOn 28.9.2012 at about 10.00 PM, one Parshant s/o Jagdish was coming from

Ashok Vihar side and was going to his home. When he reach the top of Satyawati flyover, he thought of making a call to some one. He brought out his purse and mobile phone and when he was about to make a call, accused Ravi and Imtiaz came from behind and snatched his mobile phone and purse and start running. He immediately made an alarm. In the meanwhile, ERV of PS Bharat Nagar comprising of HC Jagsharan and Ct Jamshed who were on patrolling duty on Gulab Singh Marg reached there and with the help of public showing their alertness nabbed both the accused persons along with snatched property. On their personal search, snatched mobile phone and cash Rs. 2000/- were recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 222/12 dated 28/9/12 u/s 356/379/411/34 IPC was registered at PS Bharat Nagar.

INTERROGATION:During interrogation, accused Ravi and Imtiaz have admitted their guilt. Imtiaz has also been involved in 6 snatching & theft cases of PS Ashok Vihar.

PROFILE:

Accused Ravi (18 years) s/o Roop Chand r/o KT-8, Partap Nagar, Gulabi Bagh, Delhi. He belongs to a poor family background. He is first time offender.

Accused Imtiaz (23 years) s/o Hashim Khan is a vagabond of Murga Market, Ashok Vihar. He has been found involved in following six snatching/theft cases:
