INTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT

INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE

Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) was recently elevated to a fully-fledged University in Kenya. TUM is set along the expansive shores of the beautiful and magnificent Indian Ocean and overlooking the famous Tudor Creek.

In order to strengthen the University capacity for effective and efficient service delivery, the University wishes to fill the following positions on temporary terms.

POSITION: ACCOUNTS CLERK: REF. NO TUM/ADMIN/HRM/93/120(1): 2 POSITIONS

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess ACNC Final OR KATC Final OR equivalent. Must have relevant Computer application skills.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the guidance of the Finance Officer, perform various accounting tasks relevant to the section of deployment in the Finance Department.

POSITION: ACCOMODATION ASSISTANT: REF.NO TUM/ADMIN/HRM/93/120(2): 2 POSITIONS

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent with a mean Grade of D+ plus. Must possess at least six (6) months course in H/Keeping or Accommodation Services OR relevant area from a recognized institution.

JOB SUMMARY: performing cleanliness duties at the Halls of Residence and their environs as assigned by the Supervisor.

POSITION: SENIOR CLERICAL OFFICER III: REF.NO TUM/ADMIN/HRM/93/120(3): 1 POSITION

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess Diploma in Social Sciences/Business Studies in relevant field OR its equivalent. Must be computer literate.

JOB SUMMARY: To perform clerical duties under the guidance of the in charge of mails office.
