Applications now being taken for the 2016-2017 school year for the following:The
successful candidate shall possess, demonstrate or exhibit the following:
1. A valid Virginia teacher’s license in the appropriate content area or the ability to obtain such within three years of hiring.
2. A minimum of five years of precision machining within the past seven years. Proficiency in manual machining operations preferred.
3. A four year apprenticeship journeyman’s card preferred.4. Supervisory experience preferred.5. A strong background in blueprint reading.6. Proficiency in CNC operations.7. Excellent public relations skills which enable you to work well
with students, teachers, parents and the local machining industry/manufacturing industry.
Preference will be given to holders of an Associate Degree in precision machining, mechanical design or a related field.
This position is covered by an annual contract. Salary is based upon an individual’s experience and correlated with the Augusta County Public School’s salary structure.
