Thing Link – Online poster with links and text

View an online poster with links and text about the individual. Adding links and hovering text over the image is not possible without the use of a computer. In addition, the computer allows for easy distribution by publishing the document so others may view at the same time.

Story Bird eBook with illustrations and text

With Story Bird, students create an ebook displaying information in a creative format. Such an example shows the transformation of the project to a new task impossible without technology. Not only does the task change, student learning is transformed. Students must now further their communication and design skills.

PowToon online cartoon and talk show

Powtoon allows students to creatively express their learning using a variety of animated media and design elements. Add images, music, voice over and other features. Publish the video online for others to view and comment. Unlike the other examples, this tour redefines the task into something inconceivable without technology. Students must collaborate with another student to produce the talk show.
