I am a new student who wants to use post 9/11. I have never used these benefits so where do I start?

Concurrent enrollment steps

• Student should contact main VA – 2 month class– Less than 4.5 units– Two classes in one month– Online class– One online and one on campus

• College can’t talk about housing • depend on dates

• Students can take an elective to make them full time in order to get housing allowance– Only LAST term– Ex: Last class is bio 100a and she doesn’t need any more classes to

graduate– Can add elective not on AAR to get to full time status and get housing

Rounding out

• Notify VA if any changes to schedule– online to on campus – Hybrid– Drop class– Withdrawal from university
