The advancement of technology has not only stepped up the development across all
walks of life, but has also changed the modes of operation. As far as the AV field is
concerned, there has been a great deal of change over the past 10 years, and the latest
technical products are continuously integrated, driving new requirements in our market.
Today, the AV field is not limited to audiovisual products and installation, but its scope
has extended to cover multi-functions including computer, communications, central
controls and system integration.
For many years Vega Technology Ltd. has been praised as a leader in the fields of
audiovisual, information technology, and unified communications. We have been
proactive in adapting ourselves, to focus on the future needs of our customers, expanding
the scope of our service, providing more advanced technical products, whilst at the
same time evolving from a local Hong Kong based systems integrator to what we are
now – a global service platform.
Looking back on our history since Vega Technology was established in 1986, we are
now entering our 28th anniversary in 2013. Just over the recent 3 years, we have
enlarged our company size and business scope, accelerated our development speed,
increased the number of resources, and enhanced our quality of customer service to
such as an extent as to exceed what we have done over the prior 25 years.
We now have 20 branch offices throughout 13 countries, with more than 500 professional
staff under employment, all of which are integral parts of our global platform. Through
this we are confident that we can fully satisfy all of our customers’ individual
requirements, and overcome such geographic restrictions that caused challenges to our
logistics and installations in the past. With this, we give our customers peace of mind,
efficiency and accuracy in terms of our service, and our full commitment to deliver.
We have always aimed to set the standard within our industry, through professional skills;
standard processes; systemized engineering, to simplify operations while offering affordable
pricing, ensuring that customers can expect 100% satisfaction and convenience during
projects and for ongoing system operation. As the Managing Director of Vega Technology,
I will lead our company to deliver on the above goal, satisfy the different needs of our customers,
and make Vega Technology the number one choice as a system integrator and after-sales
service provider.

The 3000 Sq Ft facility, located South of London, will
provide dedicated workshop, office and technical
demonstration space. This shows continued investment
and commitment to expanding and enhancing Vega’s
global capabilities.
As an integral component of the first truly global AV/IT
service provider, the benefits that Vega Europe can offer
its customer base will be further enhanced by on-going
investment in technical, administrative, service and
support personnel – all to be based from the new premises.
Experience has taught us that certification and on-going
technical education should be at the core of how we
operate these values will continue to be a part of Vega
Europe’s expansion.

Established in Hong Kong in 1986, Vega began
operation as a regional distributor for audiovisual
technology and rapidly became a key distribution
agency for international manufacturers to supply the
APAC theatre. With a fundamental “customer-first”
approach, Vega soon added consultancy, engineering
and support services to its technology portfolio in
order to provide a comprehensive solution resource.
This initiative was eagerly welcomed by customers
and Vega quickly became a leader in the design,
implementation and support of converged
videoconferencing and audiovisual solutions.
By 1999 Vega further broadened its operational
capabilities by establishing a state-of-the-art
Technology R&D and Manufacturing centre, located
in Shenzhen, China. Vega Technology now provides
high-quality OEM production facilities for many of the
World’s leading AV technology brands.
Vega has continued to drive the adoption and usage of
emerging communications technologies and expanded

1. Client requirements gathering
Gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s
business operational needs is the key initial step, forming
a core upon which we shall develop an appropriate
solution within the scope of work.
2. Solution development
With a complete comprehension of the client’s
requirements, we develop a solution in accordance with
the functions, technology, budget and client/end users’
input.
3. Implementation planning
Careful planning is critical to ensure the successful
delivery of a solution implementation, with consideration
of project schedule, manpower resources, equipment
availability, cost and quality of works.
4. Product procurement
With an intelligent process for supply chain and
logistics, the cost and time of product procurement will
be controlled effectively to facilitate smooth execution of
solution implementation tasks.
5. Control program development
The control system user interface is at the front line of
user experience, and will be developed during the early
stage of the implementation process, catering to the
business operational processes of the client.
6. Site coordination and cabling
Planning and directing the initial site activities, and
efficient arrangement of site resources contribute to the
success of the installation works to follow. This is also

7. Offsite fabrication
By conducting the equipment racking and testing works
offsite, we make sure the equipment is fault free before
delivery to site, which reduces risk and can also mitigate
time required for system trouble shooting onsite.
8. Onsite installation
With all site preparation and pre-installation works set,
onsite system installation, configuration, and tuning
tasks can be carried out quickly and accurately to
ensure delivery on time.
9. System test and commissioning
Following installation, the systems will be fully tested
according to a testing and commissioning plan to
ensure that all facilities function as the design intends,
and are commissioned for operational use.
10. User training
User training, system operation guidelines and technical
support documentation will be delivered specific to the
client requirements and system functions, to ensure that
users are equipped with the proper knowledge to

We Care about the Environment – Protect the Planet
Vega’s commitment to environmental care has been
reflected by the award of ISO 14001. Through the
implementation of the ISO standard, we are able to
reduce wastage in our daily operations in a number of
ways:
Carbon EmissionBy utilizing videoconferencing facilities, we are able to
reduce unnecessary overseas travel, and thus indirectly
reduce carbon emissions by avoiding the use of
airplanes.
Sustainability
ElectricityWe have replaced less efficient lighting in the office with
LED lighting in order to reduce power consumption. In
addition, lights and air conditioning in the office are turned
off during lunch hours to save extra power.
Waste No harmful or toxic substances are used during the
installation process for any of our projects. We also
promote a recycling program in the office, and adopt
processes to minimize waste paper. Paper usage is
counted, and used paper is recycled to minimize the effect
on the environment.
WaterMost of the water we use is for domestic purpose, so we
have minimized the usage through low-flush toilets,
metering and other devices.
