Valledupar, June 20172

Every day, more than a thousand people die, weep, and suffer from problems bedeviling their country and all its citizens. These civilians are responsible for putting in power the corrupt, inexperienced, and liars of the world. Leaders only by friendship, money or failing to leave are now responsible for where we are now, chaos. Chaos by what? For the sake of many people who don't realize what's really happening in their surroundings. People that only think about things that are irrelevant. People who consume media which takes over their thoughts and wraps them in a world of showbiz, falsehood, selfishness, hate, and enmity. Do you think it is right to live like this?

A large percentage of people have nowhere to live, nothing to eat or study, and only have simple clothes to wear. However, we don’t wear certain clothes because it is from last season, we don’t eat food that is not to our liking. We only think about us. What benefits us, regardless if it hurts someone else. The honorable nation of the United States of America is the perfect example. A country selfish, interested in everything you do. We have seen in the course of our lives, when there are wars, it does everything for a purpose. Money, contacts, private information, weapons or terrain. But not all the fault is of the United States, other countries contributed to its rise to the throne.

Victims of the war who want to flee but cannot find help. People who are trapped in a place full of bullets and bombs, where the dialogue is useless. People don’t’ pay attention to the Middle East and they leave it aside? Is it not important enough to get our attention? I refer to this case because there are people who have not had a day of peace, people who do not know if tomorrow they will be alive or dead. But it happens, Paris suffered an attack on 13 November 2015 and all the media published pictures of support, and the world revolutionized. Why? For being the city of love? Because they have the Eiffel Tower? This does not make one less than another.

Terrorist groups seeking to change the world use methods of torture, kidnapping and massacring innocent people, including children, to make their voices heard. This is the world of now. A world where different religions fight each other. Where the upper class believes that it has the power and discriminate others. Where rich people do what they want only by its economic position. Where the respect for women no longer exists. Where the Government is unjust and abuses its power. There are many things to criticize of today’s world.

Things That Hide in the World

In Colombia, human rights are not respected. In Colombia, human rights are violated. How is it possible that in this country more than 13,000 people are killed every year? It is a country that registers more than 13,000 tutelas to seek protection of the right to health. It is a country that violates the right to life, one of the few countries in the world that have violations of human rights. This is a country with more than twenty illegal armed groups and illegal gangs that make territorial controls.

In Cali, people receive more than 7,000 complaints about human rights violations. In the same city each year over 1,700 people are killed, with at least 20 percent being minors. Human rights are not respected as long as there is violence against women and children, as long as we do not protect people and humanity, and continue to violate women and minors.

As long as there is violence, as long as there is the death penalty, as long as there is exploitation of workers, slavery or semi-slavery, as long as there are boundaries with blades, education, health, housing and dignity are not supported, fostered and guaranteed, as long as we build walls against people, as long as there are rich countries and impoverished countries, while there are differences between the most and the least, human rights will not be respected, but will be instead VIOLATED.

In Colombia, the right to housing is not respected. People are forcibly evicted from their homes. The right to health is not respected, as the country often pollutes water with waste from state owned facilities. There is not living-wage, but instead a minimum wage that does not allow one to lead a dignified life. There is a systematic segregations of children with disabilities in general schools. People live without water with arbitrary and unlawful disconnection of the water supply network for personal and domestic use.

People cannot find work. Employers discriminate during the hiring process for reasons of sex, disability, race, political opinion, or social origin. The failure to guarantee maternity leave to working woman is not respected. There are many things that still need to be done. These and more are the many example that in Colombia, human rights are not respected.

Mothers are the best example of surrender and perseverance. Your children represent the effort of a lifetime and are the source of moments of pride that will last forever in your heart. During this special day, mothers are reminded for their important role in society in Colombia, it is a day full of happiness and joy.

This festivity here in Valledupar, specifically in our very own Colegio Bilingue, consisted of a ceremony in honor of the wonderful mothers we all have, an inspirational speech from Miss Maria Doris Villazon, and some beautiful words from the priest Julian praying for all the

mothers throughout the world. The activity was very entertaining and when we had to give our presents to our mothers, it was a very special moment. The elementary students prepared a poem and it was very cute and sweet. Not only because they are small and cute babies, but because that little poem expressed all the feelings that they had to their mothers. It was a moment that nobody will likely forget. And as we are in the capital of vallenato, we couldn't miss the rhythm of this vallenato song. It was performed by a primary student that had a beautiful voice and a lot of love in his heart.

Mothers are the most important person in our lives, they are the women that gave their life, the women that understand you, the women that are always right, and you wonder why or how? It is a shame that not all people appreciate their mothers. Writing this article was very difficult because I had the task to describe a woman that means everything to all of us. But, the truth is that there are not enough words to describe the person that you love most. There are no words to describe the person that supports you and helps you even if she had a lot of things to do. She is the woman who moves the whole world for you. She can even travel to the other part of the world for you. Today you can make her, your mother, a happier person by saying only three little but very significant and powerful words "I love you". You might be thinking "really only that"? Yes, only that. Those words can make them very happy, and those words can express a lot of what you feel for that very important person.

The ethnic and cultural diversity of Colombia is due to its current location. Colombia is located at the gateway of South America and has the privilege of being one of the countries of the subcontinent with the largest ethnic reception since the discovery of America. This fact contributes to the high rate of intangible wealth in our country.

The predominant racial strain in Colombia is the mestizo (mixed white and Amerindian), constituting about 58% of the total population in the 1998. An estimated 20% of the inhabitants are of unmixed white ancestry; 14% are mulatto (black–white); 4% are black; 3% are zambo (black–Indian); and 1% are pure Amerindian. Blacks and mulattoes are concentrated in the coastal regions and tropical valleys. Pure Amerindians are rapidly disappearing; the remaining few live mainly in inaccessible and barren regions. The principal Amerindian culture of Colombia during the pre-Columbian period was that of the Chibcha, whose descendants are today chiefly concentrated in the departments of Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Santander, and Norte de Santander. The Motilones, one of the few surviving Amerindian groups untouched by civilization in South America, inhabit the region west of Lake Maracaibo and the Venezuelan border; they are famous for their lethal weapon, the black palm bow and arrow. Small, diverse Amerindian groups also inhabit the eastern extremities of the Colombian plains region, the south, and the western coastal jungles.

The mixture of Amerindian cultures, residing centuries ago on American soil, with the newly arrived Hispanic culture, (already a fusion of Moors, Gypsies and Iberian peoples), and later, with the introduction of Africans (brought as slaves to work on sugarcane plantations and mineral extraction) resulted in the rich ethnic diversity that exists throughout Latin America.

Today, more than 500 years later, our country is recognized as pluricultural and multilingual, at present there are 87 indigenous ethnic groups, 3 differentiated groups of Afro-Colombian population

and of course the ROM or Gypsy people. In turn, it has 64 Amerindian languages, including but not limited to; the Bandé language of the raizales of the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, Palenquero, creole language of the communities of San Basilio de Palenque, (first free town of America, declared by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a masterpiece of the oral and immaterial heritage of mankind) and the Romani or Romanes language of the Rom people.

This cultural heritage is richly celebrated throughout Colombia and adds to the already richly diverse country. Our heritage and our foliage makes Colombia one of the unique places on earth.

Hypatia of Alexandria was born in 355, and was a Greek mathemat ic i an , a s t ronomer and philosopher in Egypt. Hypatia was the only daughter of the mathematician Theon of Alexandria. She went to school in Athens and became head of the Neoplatonist school in Alexandria where she thought her students about the ideas of Plato and Aristotle. Her students consisted of pagans, Christians, and even foreigners.

To some people, Hypatia was a teacher of philosophy and even a symbol of virtue. To some others, she was considered a pagan who only devoted her time to magic and was satanic. She edited famous works such as Ptolemy’s Almagest. Actually, the treatise that established the Earth-centric model for the universe that wouldn’t be overturned until the time of Copernicus and Galileo was the work of Hypatia. She also sometimes collaborated with her father. She was the earliest female mathematician and philosopher whose life and work is detailed and known.

Hypatia is almost more well known for her death than her life. She was killed in 415 by Parabalani which were an early Christian group. Led by Peter the Lector, they attacked a woman’s carriage and dragged Hypatia from it into a church and stripped her and beat her to death with roofing tiles. They then tore her body apart and burned it. She was said to have been murdered for aggravating the conflict between the governor, Orestes, and bishop, Cyril of Alexandria. To many, her death marked the fall of intellectualism and the end of classical antiquity in Alexandria. Right after Hypatia’s death, they found a forged Anti-Christian letter written under her name. The responsibility of her death was then given to Bishop Cyril and his followers.

She contributed to the work of many other mathematicians and philosophers helping form the society of today.

MisophoniaThe stress to daily sounds. “Any sound can become a problem to a person with misophonia but most are some kind of background noise”. (Misophonia Online)

It may sound weird, but there is an emotional condition that makes you feel angry, sad, stressed and mostly negative when you hear a specific sound. Misophonia was recognized as a syndrome to selected sounds in 2000 and literally it means "hatred to sounds". It can occur to certain sounds like chewing, popping gum, metals, plastics, animal sounds and even breathing.

It is something that people affected cannot always control. “A person with misophonia does not always have any control over the work environment. A coworker munching on food may be too distracting or could produce a full-fledged panic attack”. (Misophonia Online). Fighting and screaming are some of the effects of the condition. This could lead to depression, distractions, social exclusion and even panic attacks. Sometimes these people can't just ignore the sound and they need some medical aid to get over it. The brain could imagine those types of sound even if they are not close and in that way the people would became insane because of something that doesn’t exist but in their minds.

Many people do these kinds of sounds purposefully to trigger others, but it is inside everyone to know how to control their anxiety and not giving up with their issue. The sounds are described as disgusting, intolerable, stressing and offending. Is necessary to make the people with misophonia know of their condition and try to help them. The condition is not contagious, but it is important to realize that the way people treat it affects, reactions and changes in your mood. That’s why it is necessary to help the people with this problem to keep a good relationship in society. The more treatment misophonia people receive, the faster they could recover and live between respect and happiness.

Over the past decade, Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) is the major type of stroke occurring in patients worldwide. It is very common to see it throughout the entire world. Most people suffer from what is called a Thrombus or blood clot. AIS is located specifically in the brain. This kind of stroke occurs when a certain artery narrows.

After just a few minutes, the brain cells begin to die. Normally, the brain receives blood via two mayor pairs of arteries, which branch throughout tissue and supply cells with a constant flow of oxygen, glucose, and nutrients necessary for their functions. The most widely used solution to restore blood flow rapidly, is a technique called Thrombolysis, which uses enzymes to break up the clot. There’s also the Aspiration Thrombectomy treatment that uses a pump or syringe with high negative pressure to suck and remove the thrombus.

What Neurologists know is very little. It is still not clear what are the optimal levels of suction pressure and pick-up force that should be applied to remove thrombi of different sizes, different

stiffness, and in different cerebral vessels. Nor do they know what is the exact relation between the suction force produced on the thrombus and the suction distance. That’s where Physics work in the procedure and this information is important as it will directly influence the operational protocols of the aspiration thrombectomy treatment. A project in fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was conducted to model the blood flow dynamics, in a simplified cerebral model during an aspiration thrombectomy. However, the published CFD studies of aspiration techniques and cerebral flow are scarce. Master system dynamics are governed by the Navier-Stokes equation and the mass conservation equation. The aspiration intervention causes strongly disturbed vortex flow near the catheter tip, and the shear stress transportation model. Physics is used to calculate the turbulence flow effect. Detailed flow domain geometry and the boundary conditions in a vessel’s elasticity. This study analyzed the fluid flow response during aspiration intervention in an in vitro test rig.

As a person that loves medicine and wishes to be part of it in the future, this article of a certain medical condition explains at a high level, everything that a student may research of the topic in an easy and clear way. Physics is a subject that can thrill some students looking forward to have medicine as a lifestyle. AIS is occurring worldwide and with the help of Physic Dynamics, scientistas have given an answer to the people who needed a second chance to live. The language is clear and complete for a young learner by distributing the specific information of physics keywords and variables to prevent confusion at explaining the whole equation that seems to be hard but thanks to this intelligent technique, the person is able to understand.

Boko Haram Releases Kidnapped Girls in NigeriaBoko Haram is an Islamic State terrorist group that has terrified Nigeria for many years. Right now, they are a danger for the world due to all the power they have gained. Founded in 2002, with military operations launched in 2009, their goal was to create an Islamic state. This group is attacking in various ways the Nigerian people, and now even to neighboring countries; bombing schools, churches, cars, houses, police and a UN headquarter.

In April of 2014, on a northeastern town of Nigeria called Chibok, they committed an atrocious act. The group kidnapped more than 200 hundred girls from the schools, to exchange them with prisoners; it was a well-planned nighttime attack. This become known around the world, and the group´s name has been very recognized since then. It was one of the high-profile incidents of Boko Haram’s insurgency in Nigeria. The Nigerian government, together with the international community, started to make proposals and have “lengthy negotiations” as the president of Nigeria said, with the terrorist group.

From those 200 girls, more than 20 girls have been released by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and others have escaped by themselves or have been rescued. But still, it was believed that 195 girls remained in captivity. Buhari, Nigeria´s president, has said that the government was in talks to secure the release of the remaining captives. After this, the terrorist group Boko Haram advanced in negotiations with the government by releasing 82 girls that were in captivity. This was a very happy and gratifying situation for the government, and to the family of these girls. The families have made global campaigns, launched with the objective of being listened to and allowing for the release of these Nigerian girls.

Furthermore, Boko Haram had made other kidnappings in Nigeria, including thousands of adults and children. The war between the government and the terrorist group has increased, and is ending with the loss of many people´s lives. Boko Haram has killed more than 20,000 people, and displaced more than 2 million during their insurgency aimed at creating an Islamic State in northeast Nigeria. The suicide bombings, and the discriminatory attacks to other religions, have increased in the region. This group is becoming very powerful, and it is time to stop it before it is too late. According to the CIA, Boko Haram has an estimated 9,000 of men, and very dangerous people specialized in bombings. Thorough all of this, it has gained military bases, banks, control of vast amounts of weapons and money. We must stop it before it is too late.

CIGARETTES KILL!Due to scientific advances, we can now precisely count how many cancer-related DNA mutations accumulate in smoker's organs over time. Scientists have said that there is one DNA mutation per lung cell for every 50 cigarettes smoked, according to a recent study. People who smoke a pack of 20 a day for a year generate 150 mutations per lung cell, 97 per larynx cell, 39 per pharynx cell, 18 per bladder cell and 6 per liver cell. This is not only terrible, but completely avoidable if you choose not to smoke.

Epidemiological studies previously linked tobacco smoking with at least 17 classes of cancer, but this is the first time researchers have been able to quantify the molecular damage inflicted on DNA. Ludmil Alexandrov at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico and his colleagues achieved this by comparing tumor DNA from 2500 smokers and 1000 non-smokers. This allowed them to identify which mutations were associated with smoking.

In theory, every DNA mutation has the potential to trigger a cascade of genetic damage that causes cells to become cancerous. However, it is still unknown what the probability is of a single smoking-related DNA mutation turning into

Non-Fiction

cancer, or which mutation types are likely to be more malignant.

Smoking was recently compared by Ludmil Alexandrov, who said "smoking is like playing Russian roulette: the more you play, the higher the chance the mutations will hit the right genes and you will develop cancer." Quitting smoking will not reverse these genetic mutations, but they will leave permanent scars on DNA and prevent the added risk of more mutations.

Dr. Simon Chapman also said "many smokers believe there's no point in quitting because the damage is already done, but if smokers quit by middle age, they can avoid nearly all the excess risk of tobacco-caused deaths.”

Right now I am sitting in the hall,

Firstly, because I am feeling alone,

I start thinking about how the world has changed

And how the world is ending with the beautiful days.

How can the violence be our peace?

Or how can the death be our main piece of news?

It is very sad to see our world falling

And how it’s beginning is just a story,

Now we have the opportunity to change,

Before our world leads to its end.

Today we see children fighting in wars

Using weapons to fight and giving their lives.

The justice is just a lie

That is used to manipulate us,

We need peace, a real peace

Before our world just gives up.

Now it is time to take our step,

So then, we can end with the violence and all the deaths.

And I calmly let them go awayBecause I am one of those who eat underneath

We spend all the time dissimulatingTo avoid those who live murmuringBut when it's time to see each other

She knows that in her bed she already has her earthquakeThe one that puts her high and low with just a kiss

And with me is hatched because ...

Conflicts arise when there are problems of communication, personal differences, abuse of power, changes in the hierarchical organization of a group, and the desire to excel above others.

TYPES OF CONFLICTSFrustration, is generated when a goal is not achieved despite the effort made to achieve it. Interests’ conflict, occurs when the person wants something that has positive and negative aspects. Role conflict, occurs when the role we play in one area of our life comes in opposition to the one we exert in another. Interpersonal conflict, are those that arise between two or more people and represent a serious problem because they affect their emotions.

CONSTRUCTIVE CONFLICT occurs when it is used to solve problems that affect one or more people in a group. This type of conflict is useful because it contributes to improving communication, and among the members of the group, it awakens the spirit of collaboration and allows to reach common goals.

DESTRUCTIVE CONFLICT is one that is aimed at breaking ties between members of a group, and therefore destroys the spirit of collaboration, increases the differences between members, and damages group relationships.

Destructive conflict results in frustration, and as a result, it triggers hostile attitudes and destructive feelings against those who provoke the conflict. It also triggers anxiety, oppression and worries.

Destructive conflict leads to the formation of opposing groups. This type of conflict prevents the group from achieving the proposed goals.

HOW TO SOLVE A CONFLICTTo resolve a conflict, it is first necessary to describe the situation in writing. Then, to detail the components of the situation and the answers that are given to it. Afterwards, it is indispensable to see the conflict from another point of view, then it is necessary to define, clearly and in detail, the objective that is intended to achieve. This should be aimed at resolving the conflict. Then, to find the ideal solution, it is necessary to look for different solutions until you reach the definitive one. And finally, it is only to test the given solution and achieve the defined objective.

The 2017 Venezuelan protests began in January. The series of protests originally began in February 2014 when hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans protested due to high levels of criminal violence, inflation, and chronic scarcity of basic goods because of policies created by the Venezuelan government, though the size of protests had decreased since 2014. Following the 2017 Venezuelan constitutional crisis, protests began to increase greatly throughout Venezuela. The opposition protests demanded immediate presidential elections to be held because of failures of the current President, Nicolas Maduro.

Then, on March 29th, the Venezuelan Supreme Court dissolved the parliament, transferring all legislative powers to itself. By doing away with the opposition-controlled legislative branch, the move effectively meant the remaining two branches of Venezuelan government were controlled by Maduro's ruling United Socialist Party. The opposition was outraged and called the move a coup. The decision was reversed three days later.

The opposition call became even stronger when, on April 7, the government notified main opposition leader Henrique Capriles that he had been banned from doing any political work for 15 years.

AND HOW HAS THIS DICTATORSHIP AFFECTED THE COUNTRY AND THE PEOPLE?

When there is food on the shelves, prices are so high that few Venezuelans can afford it. Many have taken to eating out of the trash. Medicine remains in short supply, too. Venezuelans hunt for penicillin and other remedies at pharmacies everywhere, often without success. Public hospitals have fallen apart, causing people, including infants, to die because of the scarcity of basic medical care.

Venezuela recently asked the United Nations for help to relieve serious shortages of medicines.

OUTSIDE

President Donald Trump has not said much about the crisis in Venezuela. He tweeted a photo of himself with Lilian Tintori, the wife of opposition figure Leopoldo Lopez. In the tweet, Trump called for Venezuela to release its political prisoners. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told reporters the United States was "concerned that the government of Maduro is violating its own constitution and is not allowing the opposition to have their voices heard”

The Organization of American States recently tried to declare Venezuela in violation of its democratic charter but was denied the necessary votes by Caribbean and Central American nations that depended for years on cheap Venezuelan oil.

Even the Vatican has gotten involved in the Venezuela crisis. Pope Francis sent an envoy to Caracas to mediate talks between the opposition and the government in 2016. While those talks failed, Francis said he is willing to meet with the opposing parties to help resolve the conflict.

SAUDI ARABIA

The domain of the Ottoman Empire marked Saudi Arabia in the fourteenth century thanks to the eastward expansion. A part of the territory of the west was occupied by the invasion to the territory of Egypt in 1517 that provoked the entrance to the holy cities of Medina and Mecca. In 1550, Hasa, located in the east, submitted to the empire until the rebellion of Banu Khalid in 1670. The territory of Najd never was controlled, and was autonomous. The region was organized in tribal confederations. As Najd was independent, this caused him to become important in shaping a modern state.

In 1727, the Al Saud clan ruled the small village of Dir'iyyah. For reasons similar to European feudal implementation, the clan possessed economic power, goods and military power to fight

against the tribes of the area. The political power of Madawi al-Rasheed was limited only to the collection of taxes since it lacked economic resources. The implementation of whabismo in 1744 was what made the family to the Saud acquired so much power, next to the tax "zakat" for the Islamic leader, linking the political power with the religious one.

From 1780, the Al Saud clan began to spread Islam by preaching it in a very radical way throughout the region. In response, the Ottoman Empire sent troops to finish the first kingdom to Al Saud. The second time they tried to take the kingdom was in 1824, with the establishment of Turki ibn Abdulahh in Riyadh. However, in 1891, the Al Saud family was again defeated and exiled to Kuwait by the Al Rashid clan. In an incursion to Riyad in 1902, Ibn Saud managed to enter and build a third kingdom.

Finally, in 1932, the territory was named Saudi Arabia in to represent the ruling family. The consolidation of these territories as states was facilitated by the First World War in which it fought alongside the Triple Alliance. The British government conducted uprisings against the Ottomans that brought about their end. The history of Saudi Arabia from its conformation as a State, in particular, from the death of King Ibn Saud in 1953, is characterized by the struggle between the family to acquire the throne.

VALLEDUPAR´S BIG TRADITIONValledupar is a city which has a wide culture full of traditions and customs that attract visitors. Due to this, it has an incomparable magic in the region. In many of its streets you can smell tradition, and in some of its old passages you can still see traces of a history that undoubtedly mark those lands.

Religion could not be left behind in this sentiment, as it has carried out a number of rites that are responsible for bringing Vallenato people with that Supreme Being that we all follow as the goal of our life. There is a special date in which the Vallenatos come closer to the creator and it is the holy week, during which there are celebrations that express all the fervor that these lands show for their saints, infecting people from all over.

Among the most visited and acclaimed saints is Saint Ecce Homo, who is known as the patron saint and has a large number of parishioners who, year after year, flock his procession through the streets of Valledupar asking for some kind of Miracle or thanks for

the gifts received during the year.

From its history little is known. Some people say that this image has nothing to do with Jesus Christ. Some say that he was a man coming from Rincon Hondo who wanted a grandiose image of himself. The man remained isolated for several days without food other than a small amount of bread and water. The silence imposed by this isolation ended up disturbing people. A few days after this unusual closure, a group of villagers came to the place to know their state of health.

The surprise was enormous: the place was empty, without traces of the craftsman, and besides, the water remained intact. In the middle of the room stood an imposing image, carved majestically, which shortly afterwards was called: "The Saint Ecce Homo" ("Behold the man").

Since then, the Saint was flattered by the inhabitants of Valledupar who saw in that discovery the first of a long chain of miracles. Among them is the fact that the Ecce Homo sweat abundantly and that with that sweat can cure a large number of diseases. The ceremony of Saint Ecce Homo was declared Historic and Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

It is the responsibility of all Vallenatos that this legend continues to pass from generation to generation. Every year, tradition unites an entire region, giving a light of hope in these difficult times.

Javier Ibarra Ramos, known artistically as Kase-O, is a Spanish MC, member of the Aragonese group Violadores del Verso alongside SHO-HAI, Lírico and R de Rumba. Kase-O started in the world of rap because of his older brother, Brutal, who was a member of Gangsta Squad.

At age 13, he released his first single on a cassette, titled ‘Puzzles’. Two years later, he published Dos Rombos, with the memorable ‘I’m from Aragon’, a track that would get him more widely recognized. Later, he forms Violadores del Verso with Hate, Lirico, and R de Rumba.

Kase-O is very admired in the international rap scene due to his deep lyrics and multiple meanings. He is known as one of the pioneers of Spanish rap. His last project was titled ‘El Circulo’, which due to its success, allowed him to stay in Colombia for four years.

His single from the album is called ‘This No Para’, and received over 1 million views in its first week on youtube. The video that illustrates the theme, uses a mixture of kinetic text on historical-warlike, political and Turkish dance images by Joan Molins.

In the words of Kase-O, ‘the video represents a pseudo-mystic fable that describes the contemporary humanity’. He sadly says this may be his last album.

In multiplayer mode, there is a new game mode, War Zone. This mode has war zone assault, war zone turbo, heroic/legendary/mythical war zone, among others. You can also have a superparty, which is a crazy mode with legendary weapons.

Some of the legendary weapons are sandbox, Halo CE Magnum, battle rifle, among others.

Bad things

In campaign, you can only do one player offline, or 4 players online. Besides that, the ending is very open. Nothing seems to be resolved in the last campaigns.

In multiplayer, sometimes you can be expelled from a game for no reason. Sometimes the game seems to be unfair and leaves all good players on the same team. This is not good if you want to have an even match.

The Magic Universe

The Curse of the AguasturbiasOnce upon a time, a group of pirates were preparing some supplies for a long journey to the dark islands. Every Halloween many spirits, demons, and centaurs went to Aguasturbias to steal their souls. It was due to this that Captain Gangplank decided to end the curse of Aguasturbias.

When they were navigating in the ocean approaching the island, the water started to turn black and a lot of fog invaded the whole environment. This change alerted the captain and he gave the order to his crew to charge the cannons and take out their weapons and prepare for any attack from anything or anyone. After few minutes, a green light appeared around their ship. This began a furious fight between the pirates and all kinds of mysterious enemies.

Most of the Crew was very hurt, after this bloody battle. Finally, they arrived to the island converting this moment into a slow death for those whom were very hurt. When they arrived, many horrible souls started to appear around the ship. It was the pirates who died defending the ship! At first, the island was very lonely, it seemed as though no one was there. Even the palm trees and sand was very grey. They started to take out the rest of their supplies and make their own tent. When they finished fixing the tents the crew took a break. The idea was to rest for four hours and hide from the enemies. Later on, they ate some food in order to get energy before they were to start exploring the island.

Once they started this mission on the island, maybe 3 miles away from the shore they found a very amazing place. It was surrounded by spirits, and in the middle was a lake. The spirits began to spin very fast, making lots of loud noises and blowing air in all directions. In the middle of all this chaos was Hercarim, the most

powerful centaur of war. He was the reason that the Aguasturbia citizens suffered attacks year after year. It was known as the “curse of Aguasturbias”, and everyone would die when they came in contact with him. However, this time there one person alive, Captain Gangplank! Taking his sword to fight faithfully to win and repeating a prayer while was fighting to this enemy “Hecarim”, the captain began to wet his sword with the water of the lake making his blade brighter and faster. Powers allowed the captain to make his first cuts in the centaur’s chest making the beast bleed and run away. The beat tripped and fell and died. This was the end of the “curse of the Aguasturbias”.

Bilingual School Championship

SportsValledupar, June 2017

What happened last June 3rd? Why was there so much emotion about this match? Well, the answers to your questions are the match of Juventus vs. Real Madrid. To soccer fans, it was the boom of the dynamite. It was the match of the season. The match many people will remember for a long time. Real Madrid is one of the best teams of all time and that's why Real Madrid showed us once again how victorious they can be. This time the titan team spared against Juventus, another powerhouse team of soccer. RM had great tactics, played with strategies never used before, and had more energy than we have seen in a long time. They played fast, and hard, which was more than we could say for the other team.

Recently, one of the most beautiful experiences that any student could have had was to represent the school. Standing tall with the school name, celebrating our victories and strengths! This is what Copa Bilingue is all about. Every year we celebrate the bilingual school championship. This is where the students have the joy of choosing the sport they like best and interacting with students from other schools all around Colombia. This is a very nice experience because the little ones learn to win and lose; the big ones had fun through the tournament but especially we spent a pleasant familiar time.

This year had a participation of 80% of the students, something never before seen! Students volunteered to help extracurricular activities to make this event a success. We believe that we accomplished the expectations. On the other hand, the children and parents from other schools were very happy and grateful. They said that the school was very beautiful, that our attention was charming, and of course with one of the most beautiful opening act, in which Dr. Maria Doris Villazón (Administrative Director) spoke with the most and inspiring words for the audience.

We saw bilingue values that day; “Did you fall, get back up. Did you fail? Fight another round. Did you win, do it again. Just do not give up.”

By: María Alexandra Galindo Pérez 8B

On the other hand, Juventus was trying their best to recover, but it was not enough, and then ended up losing 4-1. In general, it was an excellent match because the teams had purpose and played their bests. Real Coach Zidane made history again. He is the first coach to win the Champions League Final twice in a row, one in 2016, and now this excellent game. Juventus coach Buffon, was sad and nostalgic, as this was his last Champions final, and he had come with the illusion of winning it.
