2. Next add four wiggly lines, one hanging from the bottom of each heart shape. Then draw four lines going from top to bottom on each diamond shape, one from each corner of the diamond.

1. Take your 2H pencil, and start by drawing the most basic shapes, four hearts, with a tiny upside-down triangle underneath each one. Then add the two diamond shapes below the balloons. The red lines show you what to draw next, continue to use your sketching pencil for the plan of the drawing.

4. Now we need to make the plan of the snake’s body thicker, so it is a proper body. Draw a line either side of the plan of the body. The two lines should meet at the tail end of the snake.

3. Now we can make a start on the snake. Draw two overlapping circles for the head, and then map out the shape of the snake’s body. We can also add some more detail to the box and lid.

6. Add scales to his neck by drawing a line following the shape of his body, add lines going accross to create separate scales. Next add ribbons to the box. Draw a single line �rst, then draw another one next to it to make the ribbons thicker. Finish by adding chocolates inside the box!

5. Next we can add more detail to the snake’s head and face. Draw his eyes, nose, mouth and tongue. Then add the scales on top of his head, with a zig-zag line going from the top of the head and part way down his body.

8. Now we can get colouring! Choose any colours you like, I have used Flip! Metallic pencils. Try �ipping yor pencils for even more choice!

7. Now you can take your 2B pencil and go over the complete outline, erasing any lines from the plan that we don’t need any more.
