How can I reduce my use of energy?

• 1. Shut off lights, computers and electronic devices when you're not using them.

• 2. Replace traditional incandescent light bulbs in your interior lamps and fixtures with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs).

• 3. Don't overload the dryer. An overloaded dryer works harder and uses more energy.

• 4. Keep the refrigerator stocked; it takes more energy to cool an empty fridge.

• 5. Use a microwave or toaster oven for cooking small items, instead of turning on the large oven.

in Sweden is less than 10 kilometers. -6

The use of energy at your school In my school there are not either sources of light with automatic turn off and those which detect when people leave the classroom.

The use of water at your school

Count the number of toilets at your school (in your school building). Count how many of the toilets which have a double flush button (small flush/big flush). Calculate how many percent of the toilets at your school which has double flush buttons.
