Chassis with Fully Integrated MCHs/Cooling Units/Power Module
VadaTech’s line of 1U chassis is ideal for customers looking for a lower cost, small form-factor, fully-integrated chassis. These chassis occupy only 1U of rack space and offer the simplicity and cost savings of having the MCH(s) with base and high-speed fabrics, Power Module, and Cooling Unit(s) build directly onto the chassis mid-plane. All of these logical components are using the same field proven circuitry and software as VadaTech’s modular MCH, Power Module, and Cooling Unit products utilized with our 2U, 5U, and 7U chassis product lines. They route backplane fabric ports 0 through 11 and offer GbE, PCIe, SRIO, XAUI, and cross-point fabrics. The three standard Telco/Fabric clocks plus the two additional AMC v2 Telco clocks are routed with options for non-redundant or enhanced redundant clocking. Options are available for Telco Alarm and/or JSM functionality.

Chassis VT870 VT875
Description
The VT870 is a 3/4 ATR μTCA Short Tall chassis that
provides four AMC mid-size and four compact slots that
can accept any AMC.1, AMC.2, AMC.3 and/or AMC.4. It
provides Fabric clock (CLK3) to each slot. The VT870 is
designed for avionics, space and ground vehicles
applications. The VT870 is designed to withstand extreme
environmental conditions such as temperature, shock,
vibration, chemical, EMI and altitude. The VT870 is made
from lightweight aluminium 6061-T6. The top is
removable and utilized stainless steel captive hardware
and self-locking helicoils to withstand maximum shock
and vibration.
The VT875 is a bench top 1/2 ATR μTCA chassis that
provides four AMC mid-size and four compact slots that
can accept any AMC.1, AMC.2, AMC.3 and/or AMC.4. It
provides Fabric clock (CLK3) to each slot. The chassis can
be utilized for development before deployment. The
VT875 is made from lightweight aluminium 6061-T6.
