Creating a questionnaire.

What is Google Docs?Today our class learnt how to use Google docs, and in short it's simply an area in the Internet where you can do your work and guarantee it’s saved every few seconds. You can access these files anytime just by signing in to your account, which might be quite useful for those who need to check their files whilst away from their own computers.

How did it benefit me?I was required to make a questionnaire in order to aid my research on audience interest in movies, and through google docs option to create a form, I’ve done just that!
With this I created my own questionnaire with personalized questions and theme.

The questionsI figured a lot of people wouldn’t be bothered if the first question they saw in a questionnaire was one which made them write a lot, so I put questions which only required clicking options or very little text input in the beginning, to get them started, then the final two questions required as most writing as possible, since those two questions will help influence my movie opening.

Questionnaire:I chose the dark and purple look as the theme simply because it looked rather eye-catching and different to your average boring questionnaire, thus increasing the chances that people would actually do it.

Advertising the questionnaire. I used various social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and other forums in order to advertise my questionnaire, however there was one little problem, the people doing it were all around my age so I wasn’t getting responses from people of other age groups, so in school I asked a few teachers to do it as well so I would get more variety in age.

I’ve not had as many people do the questionnaire as I wished therefore cannot reveal the statistics and what I have gathered from it. However I will point out that in Google Docs, there is an option to see all the facts and statistics in charts as well as a table that shows exactly what everyone's said.
