INTRODUCTION
TAVL Android application is used to
connect to the server and retrieve and display
information that FM1100, FM1200, FM2200,
FM3100, FM3200, FM4100, FM4200, FM5300
or/and GH 1201, GH 1202, GH 3000 stores there.
TAVL Android App user manual provides
information to fully understand and operate the
basic functions of this application. Here you will
find application installation guide, interface,
reports and event description, operation list.
WARNING: Teltonika reserves the right to
change/add/remove functions. Also images and
functions can be different from presented in
Manual.
Launching TAVL application:
You can enter TAVL client
application(Figure 2.) as:
User – has basic permissions. User sees devices
which are assigned to it only.
Power User – have advanced permissions. Power
User can see all devices from all groups.
Administrator – have more advanced permissions
(including User and Power User permissions and
more), can connect to any user on the server,
often this permission has owner of the server.
Client code – name of client you are trying to
connect, if you are user or power user. Note: you
may leave ―Client Code‖ empty if connecting as
administrator, User name and password must
provide by server provider…

1. Interface
TAVL application consists of these basic
parts:
Client information – Name of client,
possibility to choose Group (Figure 3.).
Quick Buttons:
Home Button
Search
Refresh
Settings
About
Logout
1.1 Objects
Object window contains a list of all
available objects that are available for the client.
It is loaded after Login by default, if simple user
login. Color State….
RED Idle
GREEN Moving
YELLOW no FIX
Object window contains list of all available
objects that are available for the client (Figure 4.).
Red color indicates idle state, green – moving.
List shows times for the latest coordinate
received from device along with other additional
Information of Landmark OR lat, long. After
clicking 'Show All Objects on Map' in Quick
button, TAVL displays them on a map. 'Refresh'
button displays the latest information available on
server. After clicking each object in list shows
you below mention function on each object
(Figure 5.).

1.1.1 EVENTS
To get event notifications for selected
objects with a selected date time press Event
Button, event window will be opened (Figure 6.),
where all the events will be shown. Pressing on
each Event can be shown on map.
1.1.2 I/O ELEMENTS
To get all I/O’s Information and their
current values press I/O Button, window will be
opened (Figure 7.), where all I/O’s name and
values enabled in device will be loaded.
1.1.3 CURRENT LOCATION:
To show object location on MAP press
Current Location button, Object on Map with
Info window will be open (Figure 8.).

1.1.4 LIVE TRACK:
To show object track with live movement
on MAP press Live Track button. Object new
location from server will be auto update and track
will be drawn from initial.
1.1.5 FIND MY CAR:
To show information about the Route
between Object and your location press Find My
Car button (Figure 9.).
1.1.6 REPORTS:
To show different reports of selected object
press Report button. Possible options are shown
in Figure 10.

Time, Last Location Update Time,
Current Location, Current Speed, Max
Speed)
Trip Report (Figure 11.)—show trip
start stop detail report and draw trip
track on MAP.
Track History (Figure 12.)—shows
selected date time track history on
MAP.

1.2 Quick Buttons (Figure 13.):
Home Button – Come back directly
from any page to home page
Search – Ability to search list of
objects (Figure 14.).
Refresh – Refresh object list or I/O
information.
Setting – parameters setting of
application (Figure 15.).
Date Format selection. AM/PM
OR 24 H
Set Unit Type. Metric OR Imperial
Chose distance unit. Kilometer,
meter, feet etc.
Chose speed unit. Km/h, m/s,
feet/sec etc.
Set Map Padding. Auto zoom level
of track.
Live track clear history. Number
of info window to maintain at a
time during live track function.
Live track refresh interval (sec).
Time to update latest location on
map from TAVL server in live
track function.
Set Map Type. Enable different
maps.
Set Reverse Geocoding. Enable
/Disable landmarks in Object list
and reports.
Set Detail Track History.
Enable/Disable track history filter
on track history on map.
(Recommended setting:
GHEnable. FMDisable)
About – Contain application version
and manufacturer information.
Logout—Logout the application
