To apply online, you need the following:

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) number

• Access to email

• Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) ***Instant EFT option available

Tips for successful registration:

• Ensure that you have access to the contact number that is linked

to the bank account that will be used for payment in order to

receive the One-Time Pin (OTP)

• Ensure that the bank account has enough funds for the application

• Complete all the steps until the end of the application

List of online applications:

• Grade 1 ➢ New Application

➢ Three-year Renewal

➢ Addition

➢ Update: Enterprise Particulars

• Grade 2 – 9 ➢ Addition of grade 1

➢ Annual Update

A. How to Register

A.1 Contractors registered with the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and cidb

Go to www.cidb.org.za click on Register online as a contractor under the Quick Links menu to

open the login page

Click on Register to create the login details

Select Yes if the enterprise is already registered with the cidb

Capture the CRS number and CSD number of the enterprise you wish to register and click Next

Upon successful registration, the login details will be sent to the email address of the contact person

captured on your cidb profile


Click on Back to sign in to capture the login details received via your email

Follow the steps under Part B on How to login

A.2 Contractors registered with Central Supplier Database (CSD) only

Select No if the enterprise is only registered with the CSD but not registered with cidb


Capture the CSD number of the enterprise you wish to register and click Next

Confirm the details of enterprise and click Next


Capture the details of the contact person and click Submit

Upon successful registration, the login details will be sent to the email address of the contact person


6. Click on Back to log in to capture the login details received via your email

7. Follow the steps under Part B on How to login

B. How to Login

Capture the CRS number, email address and password received via email, tick the box to agree to

the Terms and Conditions and click on Sign in

Change your password (must have at least 6 characters) and click Submit


Capture your CRS number, email address and new password and tick the box to agree to the Terms

and Conditions, then click Sign in

You will now be able to see the Dashboard which shows all your enterprise information including the

status and all the types of applications you can create at the bottom of the Dashboard


C. How to apply

1. Click on the type of application you wish to create at the bottom of the Dashboard

Confirm the enterprise, tax compliance and BBBEE information from CSD and click Next


Confirm the enterprise ownership (for Three-year Renewal and New Applications only) and click Edit

Select citizenship, race and gender and capture shares and voting rights for each owner and click

Continue


Where the owner is Black, select the daily functions in the enterprise and click Continue

Click Next once all ownership details have been captured


Select the class of works and click Next

Select the grade level and click Next


Grades and classes of works correct? click Next.

Click the Remove Icon

Read the declaration, capture the designation of the person making the application and click OK and

then Submit

Confirm the total amount due and click on Make payment

Capture the bank card details and click Next

Capture the One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to the contact number that is linked to the bank card and click

Submit


Payment successful? Application activated

Payment successful? Application not activated

***Instant EFT payment

Select the SID Instant EFT option

Capture the first and last name as reflected on the bank card and click Next

Select your banking institution


Capture your account number and PIN and click Proceed with payment

Follow all the Instant EFT payment steps below until the payment is done and successful

The Instant EFT payment transaction will timeout and automatically cancel if you take too long to

complete the transaction
