After inputting the necessary numbers from the assay statement, click on “calculate” box.

The Refining Profit Calculator will show you what Kulzer would have paid you, the difference between this and what your current refiner actually paid, and the percentage more represented by the Kulzer payment.

On the website you can print or email a copy of these calculations. You can also conveniently contact Kulzer to request a scrap pick up or order shipping materials.

Q: Why Does Kulzer Pay More?

A: There are a few reasons as to why Kulzer pays more:

We don’t have:

• Treatment or additional refining charges• Freight charges• Accountability charges• Minimum lot or weight charges• Third party charges

Customer beware: as in the above example, many refiners’ accountability charges are hidden because they do not clearly disclose that their payment calculations are based on only 90 percent or so of the scrap metal lot’s actual processed weight.

Our Fees:

• Gold – 10%• Silver – 15%• Platinum – 10%• Palladium – 10% (If Palladium's price is lower than $300 an ounce, a flat fee of $30

per ounce will be charged.)
