Boats arriving in Sanxenxo A good bunch of teams are already arriving in Sanxenxo. They wait on their cradles at no cost to go to the water. Boats arriving by special transports Most of you have already let us know your date of arrival. If there is somebody who have not do it yet, please note that to enter in the marina trucks need to be escorted by the local police. This is the procedure: Contact Helena Paz to inform about ETA, length and width of the transport plus driver contact details. She sends periodically a list of ETAs to the local police.
Helena Paz +34 659 293 291 [email protected] In case you cannot reach Helena, please contact: Miguel Solans +34 660 258 555 The day of arrival, the driver will have to phone/text Helena one hour before he/she gets the meeting point, that is highway AG41 to Sanxenxo - Exit 17 - “Parque Empresarial de Nantes”. Driver will have to wait there to meet the police, who will escort him into the marina. Then, do the unloading of the boat and finally the driver will have to leave the marina escorted once again by the police. Same procedure for the day of departure (in order to arrange departures we appreciate if you inform Helena about your plans, please). It is important to mention that the Organizers are in negotiations to arrange winter storage for boats at the best rates. Besides, the Spanish 6mR calendar includes a 6mR event one weekend per month in Sanxenxo: 15th - 16th - 17th October 2021 12th - 13th- 14th November 2021 6mR regattas will be held one weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun) per month on March, April and May 2022 (2022 final calendar will be announced). en la margen norte de la Ría de Pontevedra y sur de la Ría de Arousa.
The tourist capital of the Rias Baixas. It is geographically located in O Salnés valley, at north of Pontevedra estuary and at south of Arousa estuary. The council of Sanxenxo is divided in seven parishes. It has three urban centres, two in the coast, Sanxenxo and Portonovo, and one in the countryside, Vilalonga. Sanxenxo has 36 km of coast, and 24 beaches. It is the sixth time that the council has the largest number of Blue Flags in Spain: 13.Everybody is amazed by the sea landscapes and countryside landscapes of Sanxenxo. Its weather contrasts with other places in Galicia, and its privileged situation makes tempera-tures milder the whole year. Gastronomy, civil and religious architecture, trekking routes, golf, relax, shopping, leisure and nautical sports are other tourist atractions in Sanxenxo.
