As you leave the campus, you will also find the start of the Deer Valley Trail on your left. This low impact interpretive trail was designed by USC Environmental Studies students. Walk 1-mile through island chaparral and grassland habitats to see a variety of Catalina's native and introduced species. The trail eventually connects to the main island road; take a right and follow the road into Two Harbors, or hike back the way you came. 4 Administrative Offices and Gift Shop Want to learn more? The Boone Center can accommodate groups up to 50 people. Rest Rooms Rest rooms are located at the Dive Lockers, near 2, on the second floor of the Laboratory Building 6, and in the Dining Hall 11 . Please remember this is a working research station with active, on-going experiments.
