• Urbano Lugrís was born in A Coruña in 1908.• His father was a writer and his mother was a pianist.• He lived in A Coruña, Madrid and Vigo.• He studied business in a Coruña.• He founded the magazine Atlántida and wrote poetry
and articles as Ulises Fingal and draw several illustrations.
• He loved the sea and he made lots of • beautiful pictures• In 1956 he moved to Vigo.

• He never studied Fine Arts, but he is one of the greatest painters from Galicia.
• He died in Vigo 1973.
