We manage projects from the outset, working with both the client and architect to improve time efficiency and maximize economic resources. We have an experienced knowledge of materials – their technical properties, availability and cost – as well as the availability and quality of labor. We are committed to the Green Movement and will offer sustainable and environmentally safe products for every project.

As president and owner of UrbanCity Builders, Marco Lopez brings a very successful history in residential and commercial construction. Marco’s background coupled with his excellent marketing skills enabled him to provide an even broader range of options for their clients. Prior to creating UrbanCity Builders, he built up 2 successful companies Nueva Vista Construction & Luxury Mark Builders in South Texas. When he arrived back to South Texas after working for Richfield Real Estate Investments in Houston, Texas, he created 2 companies to cater to the housing needs of the area. The first was Nueva Vista Construction which he built small to medium custom homes and developed residential subdivisions, the other is his exclusive Luxury Mark Homes which he caters to the high end luxury home market which he still currently manages and personally operates.

Prior to founding these companies, Marco Lopez was a construction manager for one of the top homebuilders in the nation, General Homes Corporation where he was responsible for designing and building large single-family custom homes. Marco went on and became a project manager with one of Houston’s premier residential, commercial and multifamily developers, Richfield Real Estate Investments. Over the years, as President for Luxury Mark Builders & Nueva Vista Construction he has completed many high-end retail and residential projects, throughout south Texas. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the construction processes, technology, and home innovation.

Raised in McAllen, Texas Marco earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Real Estate Development Association and Texas A&M University’s Alumni Century Club.
