NOTICE

The Directorate has provided the following facilities in the existing MEo Class fV e-pariksha online examination system. These facilities have been added, to reduce thenumber of visit of a candidate, to the examination centre, banks etc; and afso toeliminate the submission of hard copies of documents, in the future.

i) when a fresh candidate appries for MEo crass rV examination throughe-Pariksha, he/she would now be required to upload ,ALL, relevantdocuments such as school certificates, sea service certificates, srcwproficiency certificates, copy of cDC & passport etc. at the time ofsubmission of online application. A detailed list of documents requiredto be uploaded is mentioned in the user manual and the applicationform, availabre in the e-pariksha portat, for reference.

ii) without having successfully uploaded the mandatory documents,candidate's application will not be accepted for assessment.

iii) The concerned Mercantire Marine Department (MMD) officer wourdreview and approve the application- online, based on the documentsuploaded. once the application is approved, the candidate can bookseats for written and oral examination.

iv) A detaired user guide is avairabfe in the home page for the benefit ofthe candidates, once they login to the e-pariksha portal.v) After onrine submission of the apprication, the candidate is required totake a print out of the apprication and submit the same to theconcerned MMD afong with photograph and serf_attested photocopy ofa' the uproaded documents either by post, or in person. Thesubmission of self-attested photocopy of uploaded documents will bediscontinued in future; and same wi, be notified once the system"

stabifises and satisfactory functioning of the ontine verification of thedocuments is ensured. However, candidates wifr have to get theiroriginar of the submitted documents verified by the examiner of theconcerned MMD, either at the time of initiar apprication or at the time ofthe oralexam.

ii) Both onrine and offrine payment of fees is avairabre upto 30th June2016' The offrine fee payment wiil not be avairab. from lr,Juty 2016.iii) A detaired user guide is avairabfe in the home page for the candidates

once they login to e-pariksha portal.

iv) For ail those candidates, who have arready paid appricabre fees inphysicar format with the concerned MMD, provision has been made toenter the offfine fee payment detairs in e_pariksha to enabre them tobook their seats
