Upcoming Important Dates Costume and Shoe information Costumes are arriving daily at ISDC, it's a very exciting time. As costumes are checked in, dancers are trying them on in class to check sizing, however they will not be sent home until costume balances (if any) are paid in full. Instructors will go over the costume, accessories and any other information about hair and makeup during parent observation week, Feb 24-27. Shoes- At this time we expect that all dancers have the appropriate shoes for their classes. Most shoes can be sized and ordered at ISDC, just stop by the desk. Dance Class Attendance Great attendance is imperative for a successful recital experience. We are now working hard on our recital pieces and we want every dancer to feel confidant on stage with their choreography. Older dancers are encouraged to bring recording devices to class so they can practice at home. As stated in our welcome packet, absences after Jan 1 can not be made up by attending another class as each class is learning special choreography. It is most beneficial to attend your own class. Missing class not only hurts your dancer but lets your team down as well.

We will be sizing and ordering shoes for teams in the next couple weeks. If your dancer has shoes in good condition make sure they bring them to class.

Please make sure to update your volunteer hours on the chart at the front desk. The signup for recital hours will be coming out soon.

Inclement Weather Policy: In case of bad weather, ISDC will determine whether to remain open or close by 2:00pm. We will announce on Facebook and email families at this time. If Marysville has a 2 hour delay or closes for weather it will cancel our morning classes. As always, use your best judgement when determining to come to the studio.

Personal Ads Every year we produce a keepsake program for our annual dance recital. This

year’s program will include the recital lineup, summer dance information and all of the cherished ads that will be placed to commemorate this special occasion. This beautiful keepsake book will feature photographs of all dance classes, special recognitions, and much more! And the most exciting part? The entire program is printed in full color! We have added more space for businesses and personal ads.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to recognize your

special dancers in our program. Commemorate your special dancer with a unique and personalized message in the recital program. It’s also a great opportunity to celebrate special dance years (i.e. 1st, 5th, 10th or 15th), honor your senior dancer, congratulate your competition dancer or just to say how special your dancer is to you! All personal ads will be printed in FULL COLOR and custom designed for you! In addition, those purchasing a personal ad in the program of a 1/4 page or larger will receive one program free at the recital. The cost of the recital program is $10.00. You can simply fill out the Google Form. We will also have a laptop at the front desk ready to take your submission. All program ad forms are due by February 27. This due date is firm and there will be no late submissions.
