Encounter the Risen Christ

We prayed, fasted and gave alms—and now we celebrate Easter joy! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl challenges us as we encounter our Risen Lord to bring the hope of Resurrection to a world in need. Don’t forget to turn in your CRS Rice Bowl in

the designated bins in church by Sunday, April 28th.

YM will host the annual EASTER EGG HUNT following 10:00AM Mass this Easter Sunday, IN THE GYM. With the exception of the 0-3 age group, we ask that adults step back and allow their children to do the hunting. Let's watch the kids have a blast!

Hello,

Happy Easter! He is Risen! And as my Dad always added: “He is risen indeed!”

We extend our sympathy to the family of Marcella Wuebbels. We give thanks for Marcella’s great faith and long life in our midst. May she enjoy the fullness of Christ’s Resurrection.

Thank you to all who helped prepare for and participated in the celebration of the Triduum: First Communion and Confirmation classes, servers, lectors, Good Friday troupe, ushers, cantors, musicians, keepers of the church environment and decorations, theYouth Ministry group for the Easter egg hunt!

Welcome to Jessica Birks and Nicholas Urban, who joined us at the Easter Vigil. Let us all be great examples of our faith in Christ’s death and resurrection.

He came singing love. He lived singing love.

He died singing love. He rose in silence.

If his song is to continue, we are called to do the singing.

(Banner in Quincy College chapel, c. 1970)

Let us all sing Christ’s love with our lives!

Peace & good, Fr. George
