Main Issue

Fresno Unified is one of the largest district in California. Student’s enrolled are faced with high drop out rates and a low rate of student enrollment into post secondary education.

“Fewer than 25% of students attend college and fewer graduate - the rest are left feeling unaccomplished or dismayed”( Report and Recommendations)

University Outreach Services

Who is the Population At Risk? Students at risk come from economically

disadvantaged Families poor, single-parent families.

Students who are English Learners Student who are not aware of the

resources available. Students who Do Not feel Inspired or

Motivated. Students who do not know the

requirements and deadlines for applying for College.


Agency’s Mission Recruit high school students work towards

enrolling them into Fresno State Represent the university in various community

programs, and events Provide information about how to apply for

college. Inform students of the procedures needed in order to be eligible to attend CSU Fresno
